Virtually flawless after over a year of constant use
Vastly superior to the plantronics voyagers that are very similar. Only complaint is that the ear piece rotation mechanism is slightly more difficult to rotate after a year of constant use, but it’s still working great. I’ve had over a dozen of the plantronics by headsets and these are better in every regard except the app, which is not an issue for me. Off you’re always running low on battery it could be an issue for you though unless they’ve updated it. I charge it almost every day but have run it for 3-4 days without a charge some times and never run it out.

Potentially great, but infuriating to use
I moved to this headset after Plantronics ruined the Voyager 5200 (making me sound like I was constantly underwater, a known issue). It was great at first: - Battery life is fantastic, seemingly much longer than the Voyager - Range is exceptional, I've mistakenly left my phone in one room and walked ~30 feet away before realizing that I didn't have my phone on me - Audio quality is great and folks hear me really well, great background noise cancellation But there are quirks and annoyances that have made it insufferable: - Firstly, it's the one Jabra headset that is not supported by their app, so none of the settings can be changed - If you have it connected to more than one device (e.g., iPad and iPhone), it CONSTANTLY says "headset connected" while you're on a call - the only workaround that I have found is to turn bluetooth off on all of the other devices that I normally use it - It has started to mute itself while I'm in the middle of the call and the only way to unmute is by turning it off and back on - It also doesn't say what my remaining talk time / battery life is, the way the Voyager did, so you have no idea if you're good to go for the day or if it's going to cut out in the middle of a call - Lastly, the volume is exceptionally low, to the point that it can be difficult to hear people if you're not in a quiet room (and if I was always in a quiet room, I wouldn't need this headset) Annoyingly, these issues came up a few months after I purchased, so I'm outside of the return window. I cannot understand why it is so difficult to make a noise cancelling headset that actually works - it seems like the only option are ear pods, but they have horrible audio quality and zero noise cancelling.

Finally, an alternative to the Poly Voyager 5200, but less “features”
I’ve been waiting for years for someone to come out with a true competitor to the Poly Voyager 5200. I’ve gone through at least 3 5200s over the years and got sick of them breaking and also having connection issues with the iPhone. VOICE QUALITY: Excellent. I’ve been told my voice sounds perfect and the noise cancellation to the caller works well. SOUND QUALITY: Very Good. This headset doesn’t provide ANC so if there is background noise, you may have trouble hearing your caller (even though they will hear you fine). This isn’t really a flaw as these types of headsets just sit outside your ear canal, but if you are expecting the superior ANC from other Jabra headsets, you won’t find that here. SETTINGS AND FIRMWARE UPDATING: These are not the features you are looking for, move on. Seriously, this is a minimalist headset. No settings, no configuration, no firmware updating. I’m a bit concerned about this, especially since I’ve had a few calls where I had to call someone back because there was some slight distortion on the call (it sounded like Bluetooth interference). (-1 Star). If I continue to have those types of issues, seeing that there is no way to fix them via firmware, I will have no choice but to return the product or make a warranty claim. UC / PAIRING with a laptop: I also tried pairing this headset with my laptop as well and even though it isn’t officially supported, the audio and microphone worked fine with Teams and Zoom. PROXIMITY SENSOR/AUTO ANSWER: None. Again, this is a highly functional minimalist headset. Unlike the Voyager, this headset will not recognize if you are wearing the headset or not and therefore has no auto switching capability. There is also no auto/voice answer option. PROTECTIVE CHARGING CASE: Nope. You are on your own. Based on the advertised battery life, you don’t need a charging case, but I’m a little worried about what is going to happen to this headset in my pocket. Seeing how I destroyed a few Voyagers (and those had cases), I can only imagine what might happen to this Jabra Talk 65. OVERALL: For the price, this is a great deal and since the Voyager 5200 hasn’t been updated in years, it’s nice to have an alternative. The sound quality is excellent and for professional settings, this will probably be my main headset for awhile. I can learn to live without the proximity sensor (which always seemed to fail anyway), but I’m a little nervous about not being able to update the firmware, should there be issues in the near future.

OUTSTANDING EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
Per the feature & details it says 17 days of standby time & 14 hours of battery. Well the Jabra 65 has exceeded that & my expectations. I charged it when I received it. Thereafter I WD charge it at night before bed, at least that’s what I thought I was doing for the next 2 weeks. Unbeknownst to me it was not charging at all. I did not pay attention to light which is red while charging & blue when charged. Every day it would say it was connected & I ASSumed it was charged. About 2 weeks later I cd not sleep but did not won’t to wake hubby with TV so I connected Jabra to iPad to watch movies. About 1/2 hour into movie the connection to Jabra was disconnected. Thinking it was iPad I turned off & back on & still had no connection. Then I tried to connect back to iPhone & it would not connect to that either. Frustrated I disconnected both devices & said forget this device. I then went thru the pairing of both devices again & it would not pair to either device. Really frustrated & it’s late (2:00am) I’m ready to return #%#%# thing as soon as stores open. I then checked cord that came with Jabra to be sure there was no shortage. The cord was fine. I then checked my charging tower where the cord & many more devices are plugged into. Come to find out the cord was plugged it but I never fully pushed it in. After that the red light came on. If you could have seen my face as I sat there stupidly thinking how long has this not been plugged up & wondering did I ever charge it since I purchased. Anyway by 10 AM I woke up (after such a late night) the blue light was on. I paired my devices & bam all was good again😛 Since then I sware I have worn the Jabra 2 days straight with no charging. At night I would lay on night stand. So the Jabra has exceeded my expectations The cons I wish it would say it’s fully charged or how many hours left or not & I do miss the announcement of calls. Other then that I LOVE my Jabra 65. I can talk all day, listen to music while working & at end of work day play my games thru Jabra without disturbing anyone & switch to iPad & watch a few movies while still on my Jabra 65 and all of this is in just one day Hope this helps someone looking for great talk & standby time!!!!

It's an okay product.
I was hoping the sound quality was that of a cable headset, but I guess that's how it is with bluetooth devices. I can't seem to get the ear peice all the way in my ear so I can hear all the volume. I am using the small one. It could just be my ear entry is very small but i cannot get it in as much as i like it to be. The peice is not as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. When you place the ear headset in your ear (not around your ear) The plastic rounded portion that rests in your ear. Starts to become uncomfortable. However, having the ear set on is very comfortable. You cant even feel it is on your ear. It is indeed very light weight. The only thing I dont like is that part that rests inside the ear. The part i am referring to is the sound reproducer. Ill post a picture of what i mean. Other than that. I decided to keep it. I can get used to. I just remove it when not on calls. I have tested the distance i can be away from my cell and the connection stays firm and the sound does not crackle. I have it connected to my Samsung S24+. The way I use this ear headset is for work and for use with apps I can make/receive calls with. Nothing else.

Much better than Plantronics Voyager 5200
I am a big fan of Mono Bluetooth Headsets. I don't like big bulky dual headset for a phone call unless I am listening to the music. I used Plantronics Voyager 5200 UC in my office for 1 year and had a really good experience. When it finally gave up, I decided to order it again directly from the Plantronics website. The first brand new unit was defective, and people on the other end could not hear me. Plantronics sent me a replacement, and with the second unit people could hear me but they always complained about my voice breaking. I tried it with my Phone and also with the laptop (MS Teams) with and without the USB dongle but the end result was same. I saw Jabra came out with Jabra Talk 65 which looks similar to a Blue Parrot Mono Headset. I decided to give a try and couldn't be happier with the results. It looks similar to Blue Parrot headset but I never tried Blue Parrot so I cannot comment on it. If you are debating between Jabra Talk 65 vs Plantronics Voyager 5200 then don't think too much and just buy Jabra 65. The only thing missing with this product is a carrying case. I really liked the carrying case for Plantronics Voyager. I hope Jabra in near future will provide a carrying case with this unit.

Connects to my iPhone and computer at the same time
UPDATE 7/25/24 - Lowered my rating from 4* to 2*. Two weeks past the one year warranty, my headset just stopped working. When I chatted with customer service, they let me know that it was out of warranty and that it looks like it "just died" - the did offer me a discount on Jabra Elite earbuds - but why would I want to invest in another one of their products just to have it die just after the warranty runs out. I spend most of my day on Teams/Zoom calls and then my old Jabra headset gave out after 10 years, I bought this as a replacement. The battery lasts through full day of calls, the sound is good and my voice quality is great.

It Just Works
I have Jabra hearing aids from GN so I assumed this mono headset would be just as dependable and technically advanced. I was amazed at the performance and ease of use. My wife uses this to make/take calls while her phone is mounted in a holder in our RV. This way she doesn't loose the mapping display when on the phone. Range and battery life is just amazing.

Definitely not Recommended.
First it’s very painful on the ears, been using plantronics voyager 5200 For years and never was that painful even though they look very similar, also plantronics voyager 5200 is much louder then that device so I couldn’t hear the other side in a crowded place ! It’s definitely a failure for Jabra ! Been years now but no product could win over plantronics voyager 5200!

It’s not what I expected from jabra
Not recommended at all, it get disconnected by itself and you have then to reconnect again and again, sometimes it doesn’t connect with tik tok, bad choice
