This is the best value product I’ve ever bought. It makes eating large, delicious apples easy without crushing or bruising. Since most apples aren’t level on the bottom, I hold it as vertically as possible until the cutter stabilizes, about a quarter inch. I also rock the handle slightly to help the cuts spread, making it easier to push down. After the apple is segmented, I leave the cutter in place to hold the pieces together like flower petals and use the whole thing as a serving dish. It’s convenient to remove slices one by one, toss the core, and clean up. The device seems well-made, and even if I had to replace it every other year, it’s still a good deal. The additional corer makes for an awesome pair!

I bought this to replace a cheaper unit that I had for a couple of years, until it literally fell apart while I was using it. Since I eat an apple a day, I decided to look for a more sturdy model, even if it might cost more. This apple corer fit the bill. I am very pleased with it. It is very sturdy, well made, and does the job right. I like the base too, as it allows me to cut the apple all the way through the bottom with no wobbling or skewing. Cleanup is easy and quick. This is a great product for me.I paid for this item with my own money. I was not given anything in return for a review of the item.

The media could not be loaded. I've been trying to eat healthier and lose weight. I liked the idea of this cutter because it cuts much smaller slices than a regular apple cutter. This way, I feel like I'm eating more than I actually am. I feel fuller faster. This is such a nifty tool! Cuts through cleanly and super easy to use and store away. One downside is that it didn't cut through my apple all the way and left a flat piece on the bottom, but perhaps a firmer apple wouldn't have this issue (I used as Jonagold). I also really like the corer tool that comes with it. It's so easy to remove the core and much safer than the normal style where your fingers end up in danger of getting cut by the sharp blades. This one has a lever to push to easily release the core. I'd say it's a great value for the money and I'd reccomend it for a practical gift for friends or family!

Pros: it will slice apples evenly with some effort. The side wings keep the blades perpendicular to the counter and the blade indentations in the base allow the blades to cut cleanly through the other side of the apple.It is sturdy and easy to cleanCons: takes more effort than an apple slicer should, due to the increased number of blades in the slicer and the added resistance due to increase surface area contact. Getting an apple started can be more of a chore than it should be, but once the cutting is started, it works.I think the cheapest part is the actual blade material. If the blades were better quality, I would easily pay more for the slicer.I'm not unhappy with the purchase. Just a little disappointed.

Very nice but very big. The blade is very sharp but due to the design your fingers are safe. Very well made. Washes in the dishwasher easily. A must have if you prefer not to use a knife. Much safer

This thing is incredibly efficient in getting the most apple flesh out from the core.Very easy to use with guided rail things, although that will work well only if your apples are shaped correctly.You can easily take them apart and clean them as well.Overall, I think it's worth the premium over the other similar devices.
