Im so confused. I ordered 2.5" to 2.5" but I have received 2 clamps that go from 1 size to another bigger size on the other end ?

Can i couple this to a 2.3 inch exhaust pipe?

I’m trying to get a clamp for a 2.5inch, but when I get a 2.5 clamp it doesn’t tighten enough will this work on a 2.5 ID exhaust ?

What size do I get for a 3” pipe?
