Seller insists their unit is not faulty.
Unit functioned intermittently. You could tap the side of the unit and it would work correctly for a while, then stop working. The seller insisted that it was a user incorrect setting. How can it be a setting when a physical disturbance causes it to work or not to work. Total lack of understanding of problem by seller. Poor customer service. By the way I have two of their other units which are basically the same as the defective unit and they are ok. If the user (me)puts in wrong settings, then how did the dumb user get them to work !!Recommendation : Buy at own risk , if they work OK, if not do not expect any customer service.

work....but can't conect a SSR directly
I bought this controller to replace another that I have that have a defective button (the other is a diferent pid).... when I was connecting the wires I note that there is not a SSR output.... the controller only have a relay ( with a 3A capacity)... so is imposible connect the SSR if you don't use a external DC adapter that connect 1 wire (the negative) to the ssr and the other (the positive) to base of the relay (pin 7) and with another cable conect the out of the relay (pin 6) to the ssr.....So if you don't have to make this work .... buy another one if you need use the ssr for control big currents devices ....

Good controller and great price.
Used in a sensitive heat sink. It works well ramping in to hit the temperature target without overshoot. The thermocouple wiring diagram is a little confusing, but most people will figure it out.
