I've used a couple of these sets for pedalboard cables. In the process, I only made a couple of duds early (easily rectified) and have never had a patch cable fail in the five or so years that I've been using them. [Tech tip: Whatever cables you buy, stress test them with a cable tester before putting them on your board.]One thing I like about the SIS connectors is no tails on the plug body that most other connectors have. In fact, I went to SIS because that's the only way that I could get some things on my board, contortions that most other connectors don't allow. [Since SIS came out, other makers have copied the design to some degree.]Some will complain about the price as the cable and connectors aren't cheap. However, they're easy to build, reliable, and sound good.

These work great, sound clear, all the highs come through in my rig (which is extensive). They are very easy to work with, and Geistnote's ships very fast. They are pricey, but you know what they say - you get what you pay for. I can't comment on longevity, but they connect so solidly I think they'll be trouble-free for a long time. I have a Cusack cable tester and these verify good as less than 1 ohm 1st time every time (and I made many, see pics). George Ls don't pass the test at all. These are much superior.

These work wonderfully. I'm not sure they make as big a difference in sound as people say, but they sure did make my pedal board much neater. Also, I had failures with the other pre-made ones I was using but these are way more reliable. And they are super easy to make. Overall I am very happy!
