Little Lost Unicorn Hardcover – September 1, 2009

This book is SO beautiful. I bought it for my unicorn-loving 4 year-old, who reads it all the time and loves it. Not only is the story sweet (about a unicorn who disobeys her parents and gets lost, but then gets help from others who are kind, and eventually redeems her bad behavior by being kind and helpful to others in need) and the illustrations lovely, but it has an embossed, raised texture. There are tons of unicorns hidden in each picture, and this can entertain my daughter in the carseat for a very long time, trying to find and count them all. It feels like every time we read it, we find a new one. If you have a unicorn lover, a counter, or a puzzle-solver, this is the book to buy her.

My daughter loves this book. The art is amazing and unlike I've seen in any other children's book. It's hard to describe, there is the obvious art for the story, but then all over the page there is art sort of "etched" into the page. It seems like your eyes see something new every time you read it. The story is cute, not too long, and just the right length for having read a real story but not droning on and you're sick of it.

This story is very sweet, the artwork is wonderful, and the book itself is of good quality. For a child who especially likes unicorns, it's a wonderful gift! Thanks!

This is a beautifully illustrated book with a nice story. The pages are textured, so you can touch and feel the pictures as well. I gave this to my almost 4 year old niece as a gift along with a toy unicorn figurine that looks just like the unicorn in the book (one of the big name craft stores sells them), so she has her own little lost unicorn to go along with the story. She was insistent that little lost unicorn could not be a boy though! Lol, so when reading the story, I had to change all the "he's" to "she's."My only complaint is that the binding seems kind of flimsy, and I worry that it may fall apart eventually. That would be a shame when the pages themselves are nice and thick and good quality.

Gift for a granddaughter who liked unicorns

Wow. So impressed! Thick pages (almost board book like), embossed texture, adorable illustrastions!! Love this book. Cute story too. Definitely going to be a household favorite. Can't wait to five it to my daughter!

Great for boys and girls of all ages! The illustrations are colorful and have the kind of whimsy one would expect from a fantasy book, yet still very kid-friendly. Got this for my son and my niece. The both loved it equally and loved to find the hidden unicorns!

Nice quality and illustrations but you get to the end of the story and you are looking for more pages to turn. That's it? Not much of a story. Buy Miss Suzy, now THAT is a story!!!!
