I'm one of those people that don't stay within one brand of beauty products. If I find something I like & that works, I buy it. That's how it goes with Almay Smart Shade Skintone Matching Concealer. It literally changes to match my skintone. This isn't the first time I've bought this, but it's the first time I've been given an opportunity to rave about the product. I was skeptical at first. I have VERY light skintone. I was diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) in 1998 & was told if I'd waited 6 more months, I'd have been fighting for my life. So, I try to stay out of the sun, therefore the pale skin. Almay Smart Shade doesn't hesitate. It gets right to work, matching my skintone & covering up blemishes. And it does a darn good job! It's the ONLY brand of concealer I'll ever buy.

I absolutely love this product I would recommend it to anyone and everyone that has struggled over and over again trying to find something to help them cover up flaws that are making them insecure such as scars pimples zits and everything this stuff is amazing I've tried a lot of things and I mean a lot of things and now I don't have to anymore because this stuff works so good if you're debating on buying it don't just buy it.

I realized that I had been having an allergy to eye make up (swollen eyelid, itchy eyes) for years until I decided to switch to all Almay products since they are hypoallergenic. I had become so used to eye allergies that I could not believe the difference. This concealer is a little lighter in coverage than I would prefer, but honestly, lighter coverage looks more natural. I mainly use this under my eyes but have used to coverup acne as well. Very happy to say that this does not seem to clog my pores because if it did, I’d ditch it in a heartbeat.

This product was offered as an alternative to the product I was ordering, but so much cheaper, I ordered it right away. Well, I opened it and put some on and it was deep tan. The package said "Make Mine Dark" .. so I shouldn't have opened it. Maybe my self tanning lotion wiill catch up in summer. For now, just trying to cover up odd spots I got after my second Covid vaccination....so ordered same product in "Light".The tube I was working from I'd had on hand for years and goes on white, but matches the skin... I think there is no description of shade on the little tube.So, good luck. Great product, but do order the right shade for your current skin color! :)
