Exelente

Perfect small knife for EDC, emergency backup or mixed general use
I've watched some reviews on YouTube over this and saw the reviews and images and decided to try it out. Really enjoy this blade a lot. It's the smallest of my blades yet by no means is it small in significance. The handle is perfect for gripping. Very nice rubber material on a Japanese Kanata style. Very nice to hold and swing with and the guard helps with any slippage. The size is perfect too it fits comfortably in shorts or track pants instant plus. Pockets of jackets, hoodies, shorts, jeans, neck knife, you name it this blade is small enough for it.My favourite way to hold it is reverse while making a fist, makes for a really nice weapon for defense. It's a a good slasher and puncture tool too. It's also good for minor bushcraft tasks love cutting twigs or small branches, etc, nothing major or heavy duty though this is mainly for EDC carry. It's a 3 inch blade so it's nice mix of length to be just enough to inflict back off damage and warning slashes before inflicting real damage. My main EDC carries are my Smith and Wesson 24/7 tanto, and cold steel kyoto Tantos. (S & W in my bag, kyoto in my pocket). I bought a backup 24/7 since I loved it so much and I'm going to do the same with the Kyoto 1. Thinking of picking up cold steel gi tanto and tanto machete next as well as Smith and wesson sv7 tanto (next size up from 24/7).Going to get at least 3 more and give one to my girlfriend as well as store one in my car and one in my night stand as well as one in my pocket at all times. Its an extremely pocketable and portable blade. Really like these small sized blades. Interested in getting a couple Kyoto IIs now too.As far as the Kyoto 1 goes, nifty little blade. Really like it. Great for young women or women in general to carry as defense as to fit in purses/small pockets etc.

Good knife!!!!!!
It coms sharp. Very cool mini katana looking knife lol. Very sturdy light weight. Handle is a little short for big hands but you just learn how to use it. Does not have a belt clip but I use zip ties and run it sideways on my belt in the front for easy access. Ok as for what kind of work I use it for......... I work as a landscaper........ I cut grass in cemeteries and apartment buildings. I use my knife for almost everything.... I pry crap with it (within reason) cut all the debris that get wrapped around my blades. Cut branches from under trees I have to cut under. Cut whip string ........ Use it to clean around grave stones, I mean dirt rocks ...... Everything. I have had it for about four months and I carry it everyday.... I also work at a restaurant and I use it breakdown boxes and stuff of that nature. Small, quick to deploy, easy to carry, sturdy and I have only sharpened it twice........ All around good blade.
