Continue: A Biblical Journey in Personal Discipleship

This is great review for anyone wanting to study discipleship. And, a must for new Christians. I would definitely recommend this study.

I got my copy probably over a year ago when I went through my Discipleship class at church. I immensely enjoyed my 14-week journey with my leader, and did not want it to end.I’ve been a Christian most of my life, grew up in a Christian home; this book re-inforced what I believe and taught me so much more. I love it! My goal was to go through the course so I in turn could “disciple”/share with others.I keep this book out, easily accessible, and decided to teach it to my 4 and 6 year old grandsons. I haven’t gotten very far (I only give them snippets at a time) but I wanted a structured way to teach my grandkids about Jesus, and this book, in my opinion, covers everything (especially the gospel) they need to know.I bought one each for my two cousins out of town and got through about half with one, and nowhere with the other. But at least they have the book. I think I’ll call them and remind them to crack it open. They can’t comprehend the blessing they will receive until they start/finish it. Honestly, as soon as I finished it, I wanted to start over. I’m thinking about inserting the verse references written out so that they are easily accessible.I’m not sure why I’m writing all this like I’m talking to a friend; I buy sooooo much stuff on Amazon, and even though I got this book free at church for going through the Discipleship program, I felt compelled to tell others what a great book it is.Lord willing, I will use it over and over to help others in their walk with the Lord.Nancy

Loving this so far. It was recommended to me by one of my pastors as I told him I was looking for books to give me a more in depth look at the basics of the Bible. I am a newer Christian (4 years) and this is so great for me. I really think it would be great for anyone who is looking to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible and being a Christian.

I am not quite certain how to explain why I love this book, but it is for me answers to numberless questions over the years about the Bible. My Pastor gave me a copy we hoped to work through together and managed I one meeting before work travel put an end to much enjoyed conversations about questions and answers. Regrettably, I left the gift book on one of many airplanes and no idea which one. I put a little effort into finding it but really hoped someone who needed it would find it. So, I bought a new one and just started over, which has been a joy.

Haven’t finished

Even for the seasoned believer, this book highlights a lot of the Gospel bullet points. I have so many notes all over it. I plan on using this forever. Great job.

Great accompaniment to reading your bible, helping you to grow in your faith and teach others in a study group.
