Blue Signature Compatible DA29-00003G Samsung Refrigerator Water Filter

Filters more than other filters. It says it meets some sort of higher standard. I live in the country and some of my neighbors well water has tested positive for roundup(read up on that if you don’t know) and while my well hasn’t, I bought this just in case. There is a chance my water is contaminated by now but so far tests show it’s safe. I haven’t tested the water without the filter but I believe the safety standards

Definitely the best filter I've used in my Samsung fridge since the OEM one the fridge came with. Water tastes softer and lighter than with the previous filters I've used, and has no odor or bad taste. It's only been a couple of days, but I'll definitely order it again if there are no issues.I had no problems installing the filter in the model refrigerator I have, and didn't have to do any modifications. Excellent filter (so far).

Update: although I returned he item, the seller sent me a new one and apologized for the defect. Now that’s service! New one works great!After a little less than a week, we now have black flakes showing up in our ice and water. I'm assuming this is charcoal. Was excited about the value of this filter and other reviews, but I'm not having my family drink water with black flakes in it. I had this issue with another aftermarket filter. Looks like I"ll be going back to the home depot brand

I kept having problems with the water dispenser on my Samsung side by side refrigerator due to "bargain" priced replacement filters. It would randomly stop working and then start up again after trying repeatedly to get water out. Turns out the crappy filters would occasionally let air in the line, making the water stop working until you "primed" the line enough for it to work again. Now the water dispenser works perfectly every time. Hope this helps someone out - I wound up replacing the whole water tank and line system and all I needed was the proper filter.

I was able to install this no problem. If anything, it was easier to install than Samsung's. I wasn't even sure I had installed it properly, but I didn't receive an error, or anything from the fridge, so it must be working OK. Looking forward to filtered ice that I haven't had in a LONG time! So happy to have found a cheaper filter that serves the same purpose and made in the USA!!!

This IS the correct filter for my refrigerator but it would NOT twist into place. I had to get a razor blade and cut away some of the plastic that was rubbing. It was preventing the filter from twisting on. After I cut some of the plastic off, it twisted right on. There are some "quality" issues with these. Buyer beware!!!

I hate buying water filters for my fridge. Expensive and a hassle. I bought this filter and I was shocked at how simple it was to install this water filter into my Samsung fridge. The price is great and it works fantastic. I find it very comparable to the Samsung filter. In my opinion you can beat the value on this and it works just as good.

It fit my french door Samsung refrigerator without a problem. I recommend lubricating the O rings before installing. The quality and what it filters out of the water is equal to the OEM filter which no longer fits my refrigerator. I will continue to order this product.
