Great knife, super sharp, exactly what I wanted.
I have had a Rappala fillet knife for over 45 years, and the wooden handle has finally become unrepairable. I loved that knife because it was easy to sharpen and held a razor sharp edge very well. Best knife I have ever owned. So, now I purchased this new Rappala fillet knife expecting disappointment because it was made in China. To my surprise, it's actually a great knife. It's not the quality of my old Rappala fillet knife, but a close second. The blade is razor sharp and holds its edge. The handle is plastic, which is actually more hygienic than the old wood handled version. The blade thickness isn't quite as narrow and flexible as my old knife, but it's OK. Overall, for as inexpensive as this Rappala fillet knife is, it's a damn good knife. The only issue is it doesn't come with a belt loop sheath, and only has a rigid plastic sheath to protect the edge while in a drawer or tackle box. Still, it's well worth purchasing, and I recommend it.

Great knife!
I love this knife. I was first introduced to this knife brand by my father. He had one in his tacklebox and I always used it. It was easy for me to use and being left handed some knives can be difficult. Not this one! It fits my hand and is very easy to use. The blade is thin and flexable. I love these knives.
