Somehow, this has become a thing. Every year, I send one of these huge boxes of nasty, sour, chewy things to my son and his family. They were his favorite chewy, sweet, disgusting treat when he was a kid. He's now 42 and married with three kiddos. And they all love this stuff. Who am I to say no? My job is to be sure a box of silliness arrives.

There were two bags and both bags were more like bits not full sour patch kids. The second bag all the sour patch kids felt like there got wet and stuck together and really tacky feeling. So the second bag was not consumed, but my son wanted to try a little bit and he said they tasted wrong, so I think maybe the bag had a hole that caused it to take on moisture.

I don't often buy indulgences in bulk nonetheless only fair that I state that perhaps the best things come in smaller packages which is why I deducted 1 star for flavor, which I am certain might not even reflect product quality at all, rather it is more than likely excess Citric acid consumption preventing optimal Gustation.The candies are firm, chewy with a nice even distribution of flavors (colors) if you're an OCD introvert like me you probably like to eat them one color at a time.Would buy again, just not in the "10 LB" quantity!

This product seems to have quite a long shelf life, as I have had it in storage for several months, sealed and it still seems fresh. I recommend keeping the bags in a temperature controlled and humidity controlled area, to prevent issues and spoilage, but otherwise this is a splendid product and seems to be a good buy!.

A little different experience than what you would get with a lot smaller bag of these. This also could just be the particular batch I got.1) Lemon tastes worse. Too much of the lemon flavoring.2) Cherry somehow tastes better,3) Softer than usual. Possibly fresher?
