Healing the Broken Brain Paperback – 2 May 2017

This book is amazing for stroke survivor and caregivers alike. I am a 2 time stroke survivor, and this book helped me understand the therapies I received as part of a semi robotic balance rehabilitation in Las Vegas. It took me awhile to read the book, especially the chapters that were describing my areas of most difficulty in cognitive processing. Loved David's commentary and would actually love to read a book of just his story and commentary. His interjections were so helpful because he lived it and so have I so I get what he is saying and it is so helpful!! I loved this book so much I "paid it forward" to a new stroke survivor in my master gardener club(great new hobby to see plant miracles as mentioned in the book!) Thank you so much. Excellent book. Definately a must read if you or someone you know had a stroke or whether you are caring for or providing therapy for a stroke survivor. Very well written and informative.Recommended highly by an OT
