Great quality and comfortable
I'm <95lbs, and the small pads fit fine. They seem large at first but don't feel bulky at all. The end of the top strap is bit thick; sometimes it's difficult to fit it back through the loop if you pull it completely out. However, these pads are really great quality and keep my knees safe while I'm leaning to pump a halfpipe.

Good quality, a bit complicated to put on, some sizing concerns
I was looking for a heavy duty knee pad that would let me straighten my leg and still give solid protection. I own a pair of 187 Killer Pads but they were a bit prohibitive for roller dance purposes and not great over pants. This fits the bill.Once I've had them on for a few minutes I don't even notice I'm wearing knee pads. This is my first time to have KPs with a butterfly closure. They feel very secure. As noted by another reviewer, the top strap is difficult to put back in the loop if it comes up (the rubber pull with the logo is quite thick), so I just leave that in.Would've been five stars except that I feel the Large size is a little too tall/wide for me. I'm about 5'3". I measured at 17" above the knee which is just above the medium range. So I sized up which seems to be the most common advice. My 6' guy friend tried my set and they fit and look just right on him. I hope to check out the Medium in store one day. I purchased overseas so exchanging is too complicated. While worn, the strap around the thigh has the velcro lined up perfectly; the strap around the calf is about an 1" away from perfectly lining up. My calf measurement is about 13.5"-14". The velcro at that calf is 2-3/8" so if your calf measures 16', the bottom strap might be too short to properly lock.

Perfect
These pads work great. Easy to put on and off. Don't slide down your legs and are comfortable.

Simple overall but high end construction
I bought these from the store manufacturer’s store in Quebec, not Amazon. But I spent a couple of hours poking around online comparing different knee pads. It’s overkill for me, these, as I use them for general work around the house and some photography shoots. These aren’t terribly fancy, but they are heavy duty. I’m 6 feet and 185 pounds, got the large size. The straps are what I like. Simple Velcro with no stress points that appear would break under heavy use. The padding is quite exceptional, fit and finish is also excellent. I can see why they are rated quite highly. They’re more expensive than some brands on Amazon, but as far as it appears and based on reviews, these are better and last longer. I mean they’re made for skaters so they take a beating without feeling like hockey pads. Worth paying a little more for.Definitely recommended.

Absolutely Best knee pads I have ever owned!
I like to bike, skateboard, and use my scooter all of the time. Often times I will not wear knee pads because they don't feel good, itch, and slide down; that was until I got these Bont pro knee pads. I've been skateboarding for 30 years and can personally testify that these are the best knee pads that I have ever come across. The craftsmanship of these knee pads are of superior quality, and each knee pad can be adjusted four different ways with very strong, thick velcro straps, as well as having just as strong slide adjustments for fine tuning. You can loosen the velcro and your foot will easily slide through it, then you can make adjustments to the straps for a very comfortable fit. I doubt a bullet could break through the ballistic polymer that is being used on the front of the knee pad, let alone a rock! This is probably the most important part of the knee pad because it is the part that will be doing the protecting. It can easily do its job because of how well made and strong it is! The material that is around the knee pad on the front is thoroughly padded, very thick and is also double and triple stitched. The inside liner to go along your knees is not only very nice, it is extremely soft and does not itch against my skin. When my wife saw them she was immediately fell in love with them and wanted to use them for when she goes roller skating. These not only do a great job, but look incredibly tough at the same time! I highly recommend.

Quality protection
Solid hard shell knee pads for street use. Look and feel of quality. Out of the box they feel a little stiff, a bit more articulation in the knee would make them more comfortable but they may break in with some use. they do not have a sleeve you can put your foot through, they just have top and bottom Velcro straps. Some people like that configuration because you can put them on and take them off without removing your shoes. I like something I can slide into, personal preference.

Elite protection and construction, these are the real deal.
The build quality of these is quite good. Tight Stitching, no lose stitching or distressed stitching or fabric observed, the hook and latch straps are strong material. Not too heavy, but these are definitely not the lightest knee pads I've seen. Packaged on recycled cardboard, just remove the metal hang grommet and recycle it again. These will keep your knees safe on the streets and the concrete. Good drop protection. dropped from standing to flat on level hard surface directly on the knee pads, no discomfort. These would be great for skating, while learning to snowboard (how many times do you go right down on both knees or your rear end that first day or two?), rollerblading, other wheeled adventures or footed adventures at risk of a good tumble as well. I think these should last you several years of recreational use, we shall see though. The one concern is sizing. Medium size wouldn't fit me, 6-foot man, barely fit a 5'7" woman, bottom strap was almost too short for her, it WAS the bottom strap length that would not allow me to get these on. I would choose a size up from what you normally might choose or is listed. We both measured in the range for the PRO Kneepad Medium size, but again the bottom strap was just really too short for most of that size range listed.
