Walking on Sunshine

A lovely thought provoking and heartwarming read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t put it down. I would definitely recommend.

A little sentimental for my taste. I found the beginning a bit hard going due to the subject matter but the pace improved and I enjoyed the travel interlude in parts though it was a little predictable. The characters of Mike & Pia were very thoughtfully and at times beautifully done. I liked the characters of Vickie & Mike the most. The lesson I took from this book was to enjoy every day with loved ones. Appreciate them & talk to them and perhaps in this day & age write them a note or two I think the book would be good holiday reading material.

It took me a few chapters before I was totally engrossed in this book. It’s well worth a read so enjoy it.

I read this book during the early hours of the morning when my mind doesn't switch off and what a fantastic read it was! I was able to resonate with each of the characters and the storyline captured me from the get go!

I loved this book, having been to see Gi talk about it was excited to read the story. It didn’t disappoint. The book is written with so much feeling I cried several times. The plot was relatable in so many ways, and I feel inspired to go on a trek of discovery myself one day.

I hadn't read a whole lot of G's work so thought I'd just jump in on this one. It's a nice story, the characters are nice if a little 2 dimensional overall for me it was just nice. A little predictable with a life affirming walk along Machu Piccu & finding themselves and a tidy bow at the end.
