Bought it for my dad
I got this head light for my dad he loves hunting and because he lives on Cuba needs something that is rechargeable until now he says it has worked great he loves the feature that has a red light on the back of the head so someone else that is hunting can see him and not shoot him he also loved the distance covered by the light and the different kinds of lights it had

Comfortable, sturdy and bright
The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the battery must be charged rather frequently, however the light is very bright and is very helpful with close, confined projects.

Bright?
Not as bright as I expected in comparison to another one that looks like it. Battery life is pretty short too.

one light that can zoom in and simpler battery housing - good things
I ride my bicycle a few miles in the dark to work and back home every weekday, for years. Some headlamps have plastic housings or the batteries get loose and lose connection. I like having a focusing feature. I have no use for green or red lighting. Multiple lights on one headlamp does not make enough of a difference for me, just more complicated and more weight on the end of a pivot.Someone needs to design a good way to mount these kinds of headlamps onto bicycle helmets. I would be forever appreciative. I have to secure a new headlamp to my helmet like this about once a year or every two years. And, I have to figure it out each time. This time took about 90 minutes.I plan to find a small metal pipe that will slip over the wires and then squeeze the pipe to clamp down and secure the wires, then I will cut off the excess wire. I threaded the wire through the elastic bands attached to the battery housing in back because the elastic bands easily slip out of the plastic housing. And I wrapped the wire around the battery housing. The elastic bands and the light, in front, are held in place with cable ties. I am leaving the two cable ties in front of the helmet uncut as decorative "antenna" for fun.(edit) Someone asked "what kind of batteries does this headlamp use?" Two 18650 lithium ion batteries are what the headlamp uses.

Batteries won’t stay charged
On other lights similar to this one, the batteries would stay charged 5 to 7 hours at one time. These batteries don’t seem to last, maybe an hour and a half. And I do go buy the book on how to charge and use the batteries as soon as I get them.
