I hesitated spending this amount of money, but those around £10 or less are generally stiff or not enough material. This however is like silky lace, hangs beautifully when worn. I received many compliments. Travels well, does not crease or wrinkle.

This arrives in a shrink wrapped gift box measuring approx 29cm x 22.5cm x 2cm.I already have a cream/gold mantilla made by this company & the box is identical with the only difference being what is written on the barcode label, so if you plan to buy more than one to give out as gifts that is something to keep in mind.It would be very easy to wrap or even suitable to just gift as it is - the front of the box has a feather pattern all over it & the back just has some laundry instructions - there is a barcode label on the plastic.Inside, the mantilla is folded in what feels more like butcher paper than the tissue paper I would expect to come with fabric & there is a silver net drawstring bag to store the mantilla in if you don't want to use the box.This mantilla is absolutely beautiful & very well finished.I chose the black as for the past couple of years I seem to have been at more funerals than joyous occasions & while not everyone covers their heads nowadays I regard it as a mark of respect to do so.The 2 included small black hair combs blend in with the mantilla & mean it stays securely in place even if it's a bit windy out if you choose to sew them in.The shape means (without the combs) you can also wear it around your shoulders so a mantilla is useful for more than just using as a head covering.A beautifully crafted piece of wearable art to treasure for years.

The mantilla comes in a gift box with a feather graphic. Inside the mantialla is folded up and encased in tissue. Under the mantilla there is a dove grey organza drawstring storage bag and a pack of two small combs that you can use to help hold the mantilla in place on your head. The mantilla once folded out is thick and heavy and the lace is embossed with a beautiful thick pattern. Really nice. I used to love seeing ladies wear Mantilla's to Chapel ( Catholic Church) as a child in Ireland. However, it has died out of late so I think this mantilla has many other uses. It can be used as a lovely cover up, shawl on holiday, for weddings or funerals(in summer) as a head scarf or wrapped around the neck and head to look glamourous in an open top car or for accessorising a Goth outfit which is what my teen daughter has used it for. It could even be used on a pelmet or mantel.

This black veil/mantilla is exquisite. The quality of the fabric is very high, and the design is elegant and beautiful.Such a veil is worn by women in the traditional Latin Catholic Mass, and this veil would also be suitable for a funeral or worn as a shawl with an evening dress.It is presented attractively in a printed cardboard box and comes with a voile bag in which it may be kept safe from being snagged in one’s bag.A perfect gift to oneself or another.

Very nice and premium packaging with the veil well protected inside piper. There's no problems with storage either as it comes with a pouch which you can keep the veil in.The veil itself feels very good quality and is nice to the touch. It's comfortable on and as per the blurb can be worn in a number of different ways. It comes with a couple of hair clips to help secure.It's hand wash only and comes with clear instructions on how best to care for it.It's a "niche" item but if you need a veil, this is the perfect choice.

This scarf is made out of a very lovely lace material. It looks absolutely beautiful. It can be used for a number of purposes including for wearing it to the church, or just as a shawl on top of a dress. I love the intricate lace. It came packed beautifully in a box and came with a storage bag.It's made from a very good quality lace which means it won't rip easily. I'm very pleased with the overall look of this scarf.

This beautiful multi-purpose veil/scarf/mantilla is gorgeous. It's good quality and of a good weight which hangs/crapes really well.It comes with two small and discreet clips to hold it in place, should you need them, and an organza storage bag.The whole thing is beautifully presented in a gift box and would make a really lovely gift.Well worth the asking price and highly recommended.

I am very impressed with the quality of the Veil. It has a lovely design. It is a good size and is shaped to fit and cover the face but stop at the shoulders. I also like intricate design, its simply gorgeous. You can still see through it okay and is perfect for religious observance.
