Easy to read and operate digital timer.
The size is good; the alarm is a bit loud but there is a vibration mode. The biggest asset is you can easily change the time set and see the seconds count down. I use one in the bathroom for timing multiple glaucoma drops and one on the dryer for short cycles before hanging delicates.

Excellent Timer, Best on Market
I have about 8 of these now, and I use them for a game I play (Goodgame Empire). They are the best as you can set them for several hours, and you just press individual buttons to set time you want them to go off. Many of these on market you have to keep pressing the button over and over to get to right time, and many only go to 99 minutes. I have had several of these now for a couple of years. Also battery is easy to replace and uses an aaa battery that lasts a decent amount of time (and very simple to replace). I am extremely happy with this product--and it is very easy to read.

The two we bought in 2016 were great. The four we bought six months (May 2020) have all failed
We bought two of these in 2016 and they were great. Eventually we needed more for a variety of reasons so of course we bought these. All four of the new ones have now failed. Sometimes they randomly beep when we haven't set them. Sometimes they beep once when time is up. Or beep when you start the timer rather than when it ends. Then they start intermittently failing to beep at all when the timer is up. When it happened to the first one we thought it was a fluke and just tossed it. Now we're down to the two we started with. Don't risk you recipes or anything else you rely on timers for!

Excellent timers
These are exactly what I wanted in a timer, and have purchased several in searching. They're small, easy to use, easy to hear, and at a great price.

Easy to read and use; may not last quite as long as consumer would want.
I have now bought 6 of these over the past 3-4 years. Six because I buy two at a time, one for the kitchen and one for my office. They seem to break after about 2 years. Something goes wrong with the speaker inside, I think, because the time will flash, but there will be no sound. NOTE: I did buy two other brands and did not like either one as well. One by West Bend (Cat. No. 40005X) has the very small start and stop buttons in the middle, so not as easy to use. The other one (Xrexs - no model number on the back) has an unpleasant and loud alarm, so I don't use that one either. Over all, I will stick with the CDN Model TM 30, even if they do "give up" a bit too soon. (I would have given a 5 on all, except for the short life of the product.)

What's not to like?
I use these for work. Being able to input the time rather than scroll up and down with arrow buttons one second or minute at a time is a huge advantage. It has a silent mode, which is perfect for my needs. I have nothing negative to say about these timers. They have made my life a lot easier. I definitely recommend them.

One of Two
I have purchased this item before and love it. However this time only one of the two will beep and/or vibrate. It does keep track of the time and countdown, but that is useless unless the alarms work. Would gladly give this a five star rating if they both worked.

LOVE these
These like the old Radio Shack timers I got addicted to ages ago. I use them for absolutely everything, they're so easy to use. I have 3 by my stationary bike so I can increase minutes of difficulty per day, reduce "medium" ride accordingly, and watch my cool down min. While my washer & dryer play a tune when they're done, I can't hear it two flights up so I use these for that, too. I've been known to clip one to my shirt so I don't miss the end of an online auction, time out how long before my next conference call, you name it. I have one in the Master to measure how long I can "plank" (not long), but they're super handy & in every room of the house.

Great timers....when they work.
Direct entry timers are the way to go. The option for vibrate instead of beep is handy and these get used not only in the kitchen but also during exercise routines as well and in other ways. Appreciate the large display and attractive design too. The vendor I purchased from had two timers for $34.99 CAD which is a good price.Update: Timers went down to $30.99 for two so I bought more. After using for a short time found that they are faulty and many times either the chime or timing mechanism fails. Now I have to use two timers at the same time in case one craps out part way through use. Very disappointing. Changed my 5 star rating to 3 stars to reflect this.
