These sheets are great! I didn't know what they hype was regarding linen sheets until I tried them. They are light, comfortable, and feel high-end. I will definitely be buying another set in the future.

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered this linen sheet set, West Elm linen sheet set, and hemstitch linen sheet set from the same manufacture all in the glass color. (see video and photos). I would have kept this sheet set (flax color) however the cross stitch decorative band is not the same color as the sheet itself. As you can see from the picture it’s a very bright cream/white color that makes it stick out and looks like a mistake. I have ordered sheet sets before where that band is the same color as the sheet. The West Elm weave is definitely tighter and less gauzy. This one and the plain band hemstitch are a loose cross weave. I can see how some people have commented on the sheets pulls, holes, and tears. The fabric right out of the box is softer than other linen sheets I have gotten before. To the touch, you can feel there is a starchy stiffening chemical added to them to make it look nice for packaging. They do this almost all bedding and clothes so not abnormal. So with any linen sheet set always wash on cold with woolite. I always do the first wash with a linen sheet set using some baking soda and then do the immediate second wash with woolite. Cool cycle on the dryer and never had issues. They dryer super fast so you can run them on cool a couple minutes and iron them or just dry then and take out immediately for a more relaxed look. They are linen so it will never be a crisp sheet set like a Parcale sheet set. That said after second wash, I always put them on the bed and through their regular cycles on the beds. Never had any issues. I am sending it back in package cause that hemstitch is a complete different color and that is the only reason I am sending them back. That said the second sheet set also from Simple & Opulence is going back as well. The color is a solid flax all the way through including the band. However, the seam under that is very wavy and loose so I foresee it coming about in just a couple washes. Also the seam down the side of the sheet I can see is also loose and very wavy. (See the picture with the wavy seam under the band. So this set is going back cause of quality issue with the seams from sewing. I am keeping the West Elm ones as better quality and was $57 more when they were on sale than both these sheet sets. I will say that I will try the straight stitch band ones again in a different color in a couple months to see if the quality has gotten better. Happy to try ordering again in a little bit. For the dollar amount it’s a good value but like people have said there is some quality issues currently in some of the colors. I will update the review in a few months when I order another set in white and comment on how the West Elms are holding up. I will wait though for a couple wash cycles and on the bed cycles to review the Simple&Opulence ones when I get them in the near future

The sheets arrived quickly and were nicely packaged. I prewashed and dried them 3x (twice soaking in baking soda) prior to putting them on my bed. I was floored by the amount of lint that was collected on the dryer vent after each and every wash. I have a linen duvet and wear a lot of linen in the summer. I’ve never experienced so much residue lint. The sheets look lovely but they are not nearly as soft as some of my other items (including my duvet). I don’t think they are a bargain, I think they are priced according to the quality. They are thick and comfortable to sleep in. The fitted sheets easily covered my pillow top mattress but I was disappointed that the flat sheet is too short to tuck. (This seems to be a common trend with most sheets on the market. Manufacturers focus on making the fitted sheet deep but neglect the fact that the flat sheet also needs to be wider to accommodate thicker mattresses.) In the future, I will buy my sheets separately and order a king flat with a queen fitted to solve the issue.Update: April 2023 - Despite weekly washing and constant use over 2 yrs they haven’t developed any holes or tears. They’ve also gotten a lot softer over time. Yay! However, every morning when I make my bed, I’m annoyed that the top sheets isn’t wide enough to tuck on both sides of my bed. For this reason, I finally just ordered a different brand linen set but before doing so, I came back to this order to compare sizes. This brand’s flat sheet is 90x102, where the new brand provides a generous 100x112 flat sheet for their queen sizes. Seeing how well these linen sheets have held up, it’s a shame that they haven’t addressed the sizing. It’s the only issue but a big one that has prevented me from being a repeat customer!

I wanted to redo the color of my bedding but did not want to spend hundreds on Parachute linen sheets again. I can genuinely say these are just as good for WAY less. I am incredibly happy with these--even bought the matching Duvet cover. I will buy these again before purchasing from Parachute again. Save yourself the money!!

So far I am loving them! If you are new to linen they might feel a little rough, but since linen gets softer with each wash I am looking forward to many years of comfort. Especially with the weather getting warmer, it's so nice to wake up cool and refreshed and not have to have sheets that trap heat and moisture next to the skin. Another plus is that they are bigger than they absolutely need to be and there is elastic all the way around the bottom, so they are not a super tight fit even though my mattress is a double pillow-top, and they don't slide off the corners. Win/win!The cheaper microfiber and cotton blend sheets and even the 100% cotton that I have are no match. Are they more expensive than the $17 set at costco? yes. Are they many times better? also yes. I am planning to buy a second set of these so I never have to go without on laundry day. They were on my wish list forever and my husband bought them for me as a birthday gift.

Beautiful, but… not the feel I was expecting. Feels a bit like sleeping between 2 sheets of grade school paper….🤭🫤
