Unfortunately these are super thin, and my husband's toe popped through after one wearing on one pair, and three wearings on the second pair. The third pair is still ok. The socks were not too small, and his toenails are not long. The material is just thin and loosely woven.

I purchased these for a gift. When i opened the pack, I was unhappy to discover they would fit my shoe size! They are short not over the calf, but cute and I will wear them. But I could never give them as a gift to an adult male.
