Candle Making for Beginners: Step by step guide to making your own candles at home: Simple and Easy!

This book is a great start to learn how to make homemade candles.

I loved the fact that this book was very helpful and informative. And that it also gave you specific instructions and DOS and don't. I would recommend this book to those of us looking to start a candle business.

The information in this book was good. The writing was hard to follow in many places do to syntax and grammar errors. It seemed like the author was not familiar with English or it was a second language. The information was good once it was deciphered. It was straight and to the point. It did make me want to know more but I will be looking at different books to get that information. I feel like I may be still missing some tips.

The kit lacked basic information that would have been useful. Specifically, that the top of the candle would have to be "topped off" after the first pour. Without that information, there is no wax left to use for this purpose. The kids' candles were far from smooth on top, and they were a bit disappointed about that. Additionally, the perfume was very strong and offensive to some. Like walking through a row of perfume counters in a store. Otherwise, the kit contained all the supplies it promised, and the process went well for 10 and 12 year old kids with no experience.

Great book for beginners. Good information. Easy to follow directions. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in making their own candles. A list of candle making supply companies would have been helpful along with pictures of the different types and sizes of wicks. Other than that it was very helpful and informative.

I like that the instructions were specific and easy to follow.

Self-published book with grammar errors and skimpy on # pages for the price. Not what I expected and does not clearly describe what to do. Can get better basic info from the Internet and YouTube. Sorry I bought this book as I was looking for clear, step-by-step details/instructions vs general info and wanted as a go to reference material. Does not encourage me to explore candle making..

Interesting facts at the beginning about candles then straight into it, clear info about what you need and how to measure. Loved it and a few"recipes" to follow if you wanted to. No faffing around, I like that

The book is good for the technical parts but not much ideas on candle varieties. Maybe more ideas with pictures would add to its value.

I was a little disappointed with this book. It is a very slim tome indeed, printed in black and white only, once you get inside the rather lovely cover. The information contained looks helpful, but the poor print quality makes it difficult to see exactly what's happening in the photos.

I have made candles on and off for years, sometimes reasonably successfully, sometimes not. The book I have feels quite complicated so I looked for a simple, step by step set of instructions and this book is it. Maybe too simple for some, but right up my street

Reasonable all round starter book, a few mistakes in it but good otherwise.
