Great Read
Really enjoyed this mystery, the flow of the story was fast filled with clues but kept you guessing and just when you thought you had it figured out, there was a twist in the story. Kept me guessing to the end. The characters were interesting but yet believable. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

A Very Strange Cast of Characters
Of all the Fenella Sallow novels this one had the most complicated plot and the biggest collection of strange characters. The ending was a surprise, and I’m still not sure how she determined who the perpetrator was.

Aggravating
Disjointed narratives. Too much back and forth characters. However, I do like the characters. Do not like the teasing ending.

Growing on me
Nancy Drew for adults?Fenella isn’t the typical obsessive, flawed cop-protagonist. She’s balanced. Although I’ve rated these mysteries as average, I have yet to figure out “who-done-it” —even at the end. That is very fun.Fenella’s sidekicks help round out her almost-too-motherly character. All in all, all three books have been good, and I’ve been unable to put them down. Even now, I’m reaching for my Kindle to buy the next installment in the Detective Fenella Sallow mystery series.

An awesome read
You can't out it down and the storyline flows from one book to the next so be prepared to read all 8 books in the Fenella series.

I like the main character, so different than the usual. Each story keeps you readin and the underlying story gets you to the next book

Awful
This book was such an awful mess! The characters were odious and the plot was not much better. There were spelling errors as well. Do not waste your money on this rubbish.

Twisted Bones - Fenella Sallow series Book 3.
Liz Slough takes Jade Marsh ( a disabled 2 or 3 year old and disappears. It is reported to the police and Fenella andcher team takeover the case. Liz Slough is found dead and in pieces on top of a historical hill in the area. No sign of Jade who requires daily medication to survive. Suspects are Sal Marsh, mother and Steve Marsh, father. Both parents are quite out of it. The only person holding it together is Sal's father Jim Young who loves his granddaughter. There is a ransome which is handled and paid, without police knowledge, by the family but no Jade. Another murder occurs of a social worker, which has a link to the first murder. Another person if interest is Detective Rab Nash who is a compulsive gambler and is involved in some way. Eventually Jade is found unconscious and the killer is discovered and it is surprising. The one great thing about these books is the relationship between Fenella, her husband Eduardo and her mother called Nan. Fenella is able to leave the horror of her job and come home a different person because of those two wonderful people.

Pretty well done.
Too much back and forth with characters and I was beginning to get lost in the telling...but ok over all. I liked her previous story better.
