JDM Black Bumper Quick Release Fastener Kit for Front Rear Bumpers

These are really great, My Infiniti G35 is slammed to the ground, and I kept pulling my bumper off when it would go over parking spot bumper. And it eventually ripped the tab that held the bumper to the fender. It was hanging and I was going to drill holes and put vip ties, But found these great little things. These were easy to install, look great, and when my bumper gets pulled It doesnt break anything cause they streach. Also ive made it where I can take my bumper off really quickly so no isseues going up steep driveways... I get a lot of complaments on the quick release too since i added some fairly colorful O-rings that make it POP.

Theses are easy to use if you even just a little craft worthy. I used a spade drill bit at 3/4 I believe and makes the perfect size. They come with extra bands and as the seller says theses band COULD BREAK because of weather so don’t bash it if it does. It is thick rubber but what I did was add a short black zip tie for better protection and or you could just use a zip tie if the rubber breaks. I definitely recommend it.

These work as intended with you space them out correctly, just read the recommended distance. As far as the rubber bands, yes they will need replaced. They are rubber after all and have a decent amount of tension on them. This comes with a spare set but you can buy more replacements for super cheap. These with first set bands had survived me catching the front end a few times already (lowered car problems).

Have had them on my 95 miata for about 8 months now and still holding up, just have zip ties on there since the rubber bands broke all off

Durability is pretty good, though depending on where you live- there are times where the heat or salt from the roads, that they throw on for the snow will make the bands snap a lot more easily. It’s pretty inevitable, and nothing you can do about that. So I still would repurchase and recommend.

First impression: The aluminum looks good, but the steel fasteners are clearly not stainless. Mine were already rusty before opening the package. If you want to prevent transferring that corrosion to your fender, you will want to replace the fasteners with Stainless, or look elsewhere. Installation is easy enough, as long as you have access behind where you're putting these. You'll want to follow this advice: Mount the lower piece first, then put the rubber band around that and pull up on the bumper to ensure that it comes up snug where you want it and then mark your hole location on the fender, otherwise if something else lets loose the bumper will sag due to the elasticity of the rubber band. This means that you may not end up with an even look. To get close, mine needed a 4 inch spacing to overcome the weight of the bumper with the band untwisted.

I have these on a 350z and I've always hated the long and tedious process of taking the front bumper off the long way, however, this changes the game. Looks great, easy access to the bumper, the bands last for a good min, overall highly recommend

This is such a easy and cheap solution to my hanging bumper issue on my 2009 WRX. It would have cost me so much more to replace the wheel well skirts and bumper backing. The only thing is you have to not mind that it’s visible. But my issue has finally been solved!
