Feeler Gauge Size 3-1/4" 26 Blade Master Stainless Steel

These feeler gauges are NOT stainless steel. I purchased them to gap a grain mill and I wanted stainless so I wouldn't get oil on the rollers. When I opened the package, the feeler gauges were covered in oil (not a good sign). I washed them and they immediately started rusting. I will be returning them.

I picked up this feeler gauge while I was ordering parts for replacing the head gaskets on my beater truck. I wanted to measure how much they had warped over the last 172k miles. With the feeler gauge I was able to verify the distance between the block and the head and ended up going with a heavier duty head gasket to compensate for the wear. The feeler gauge feels well made considering the price and I like that it folds into itself so it doesn’t take up much space in my toolbox. I don’t know if that would be a good for professional mechanic or someone who needs absolutely exact measurements, but for an amateur mechanic it’s great.

Got this for my husband. He works on cars, trucks and four wheelers. He loves it! The feeler gauge set measures from 0.0015 Inch (0.038 mm) to 0.025 Inch (0.635 mm). Has 26 plates. The plates are made of stainless steel and are chrome plated. All of the plates are connected together and fold up into one compact space. Small enough to easily fit in your pocket. It is laser etched with measurements in inches and millimeters. Even has a thumb notch for easy holding. Great tool for the novice to the professional mechanic. Would make a great gift too.

Very good quality feeler gauged. Changed spark plugs in my 06 Dodge Charger and these things were perfect to ensure I had the perfect gap. The really thin blades I did have trouble a little bit getting to them. Even with the grease removed thinking this was causing them to stick together it did not help. Loosened the nut a tad and it seems to be better. Still a great product and accurate. Looks like this thing will stand the test of time but we shall see.

I ordered this stainless steel feeler gauge for my husband. My Father and brother are both mechanics and always had one of these to use when tuning up a car. A few weeks ago are lawn mower broke down and there was hubby out there trying to fix it. He asked me to pick up a new spark plug and that's when it dawned on me that he didn't yet have this tool that could help him out. This one is hefty and looks well constructed.

I bought this product for my husband and he's really enjoying it. He likes how small the measurements go and how accurate they are... as a machinist, precision is key! The materials are of high quality as well.

Good value. Quality seems good on first use. Time will tell if they stand up to regular use by sweaty hands.

So far, so good. My husband says he likes this better than the small circle one, because this can be more accurate. I could recommend his to others.
