The media could not be loaded.  I use this light under water in my pond-in-a-pot. Its been underwater for a week and I can confirm it is 100% water proof. I have the solar panel several feet away, and hid the cord in between the light and the solar panel under rocks. I like that I do not need to plug it in- It collects sunlight power during the day and automatically turns on at dark and lasts until sunrise. The light coming from underwater looks so neat! It is really hard to see the effect in photos, but I included some anyway. The light itself is on a base but will swivel to either side. I have mine pointed at my pond spitter fish fountain, and it looks very nice shining up from the bottom of the pond through the plants. Don't expect it to be super bright, it's more of a soft glow. There is also a "blinking" setting, but I can't imagine why you'd want your pond to blink. I leave mine on the "constant on" setting. I may get another to provide a bit more light from under the water. I recommend it!

The solar pond light arrived on time and was as described on the sellers page. And upon installation, the light worked fine, but after less than two weeks of use I noticed the length of time that It stayed on after dark was getting shorter and shorter. By week number three, you could hardly tell that the light was on and subsequently stopped working altogether. Amazon’s return procedure made the return for full refund extremely easy.

I've purchased two of these lights so far to light up a couple of areas for night time safety where there are steps in a stone courtyard.I mounted the solar panels (w/o stakes) on top of a roofed pergola in full sun and ran the cables down posts to aim the lights at the areas needed.My lights have been up for a couple of months now and they work great! They seem to stay lit for at least 5 hours, they're probably on longer:Its summertime and it doesn't get dark until 8:30-9, so I am not up to see them stop working! ;-)This long-term sunshine may also be why I am not experiencing "battery issues" like some of the reviewers talked about.I like the way these lights have swivel mounts to aim them and they are nice looking and solid. I plan to buy at least one more of them.

Bought for our fountain. Looked good for 3 months, lamp started to get dimmer so we adjusted the solar panel, a week later it just quit. We took it apart; the base cracked in two (doesn't affect the lamp), but the lamp was filled with water & corroded! Definitely NOT watertight. not sure what to get as a replacement, this was just what we needed:-(

Received light in new condition. This light is brighter than I expected and gives a nice glow. It seems to be made of good quality and appears like it should last for a good amount of time. The cord is longer than expected and is a nice surprise. At this time I would recommend this product anyone.

This light is just what I needed - a solar light with the solar panel external to the light and one that I could position just as this one does. Absolutely perfect for what I need. The light is nice and bright too. Very happy with this light.

Works well, I used it for a subtle uplights on a piece of driftwood. Not super bright but that's what I was looking for.

Worked great for one day. Must have abysmal quality control. Steer clear.
