Great case for iPad Air 4
This is one of the best tablet cases I've ever had, to be fair. It has a solid translucent back, which fits the iapd perfectly (including all cutouts for camera, speaker grille and so on), and the kind of folding cover you've seen a million times before: it has the auto sleep/wake thing going on, and can be folded back on itself to make a kind of stand that keeps it upright for viewing, or at a slight angle for drawing. The best feature is the extra magnetically closing flap, which wraps around and secures the Apple Pencil 2 while it is clamped to the side of the iPad, so you feel like it is secure. It also has a small slit in the aforementioned flap, so you can visually confirm the pencil is in there (though I feel if you don't know where your £100+ stylus is without checking the slit, you might have bigger problems). It comes in nice packaging too.The only tiny flaw I can find, is that the volume buttons can be a little difficult to press when inside the case - you really need to hold the thing with two hands to give it some resistance. As I say, this is a minor thing and you can usually adjust volume on screen if need be.A word on colour - the rose gold one looks lovely, with its pink back and slightly metallic looking front cover. However, I've seen a few of the other colours and they look decidedly lacklustre in comparison. The sky blue one is in fact a very pale baby blue colour, and the grey one is as it looks but seems very bland in comparison. But the pink one will look fab on your rose gold iPad!

Slim, lightweight, well made case
ESR generally make good products, also the case here. This blue case is colour matched well to my blue iPad Air 5th gen, and is lightweight with precise cutouts for speaker holes, etc. Good level of protection yet lightweight and also holds the Apple Pencil well.

3 months of use - amazing and worth the money!
I got the grey case after watching a youtube review and loved it! I've been v.busy so didn't take action soon enough but it did arrive with the front cover with an indented mark (not scratched) I'm not sure how but the package was dented in the middle, I was optimistic and hoped it was like memory foam and it would bounce back to normal (like if you dug your fingernail in and it leaves a mark temporarily) as it wasn't teared but it remained in place all these months. I can't refund it now as I've used it and forgot about it. The case itself is nice and fancy, hugs the iPad perfectly, besides from the mark on the front cover, it's really good.

Best case I've found for functionality
There's six things I would like from a case: #1protection, #2 landscape stand, #3 auto sleep/wake, #4 access to touch ID, #5 pencil storage/dock and #6 ability to swivel for portrait stand. The ESR Trifold case does the first 5.The problem is that many case manufacturers assumed that because the dimensions of the Air 10.9" are the same as the Pro 11" then one case will fit *both* iPads. But invariably you will find it almost impossible to use touch ID with a Pro 11" case as the touch sensor isn't in exactly the same place. And the auto sleep/wake doesn't work because the magnet in the Air 10.9" case needs to be in a different position than that of the Pro 11" magnet. So if you see a case that says it fits both iPads, pass on by.There's only one case that does #6 but it's one that was developed for the Pro 11" so doesn't support functions #3 and #4, and is also several times the price of this one.I saw a comment on one review that the Apple Pencil kept falling out of the ESR case, I can't see how this would happen, the pencil is held by magnets, then secured with the clasp.Overall it's difficult to be critical when the case is such good value.

Perfect for iPad Air with the pencil
This is perfect for those iPas Air owners who use an Apple Pencil. It is slim, light, and the materials are of high quality at this price point. I particularly like the design of the pencil holder. Simple and yet very secure.

Great case!
Case fits very well on the iPad. I can't speak for the rest of the colours but the purple matches very nicely with the iPad. Personally I didn't have issues with the magnetic flap, although the magnet that holds it in the trifold position is a little week as I found it sometimes would unfold itself when I lifted the iPad off the table.Other than that, the case is excellent value. It doesn't add any extra bulk to the tablet and the semi-transparent back still shows the excellent design of the iPad itself.

LOST BUT ARRIVED! 🫨
The media could not be loaded. This was a parcel declared LOST as it didn’t arrive on the said dates. However, it did came to my mail after 2 weeks by UPS. Amazon refunded me tho, so might as well give a review for everyone’s reference. This is perfection! I just love the color (sage or mint green) and the quality of the product is superb. Gives your iPad a fancy touch. Definitely a good buy. 🫶🏻

Very light and manages the loose pencil well
I have a fancy keyboard case for my Air 4, but it doubles the weight and sometimes isn't needed (I use my Air mostly for reading and marking up PDFs).This keyboard is very light. It has a thin plastic hard shell around the ipad. The whole bottom is cut-out so charging is easy. The top is a typical vinyl flip-flop cover and stand. The pencil straps is compact and wraps around the pencil, fastening with a magnet. That's a godsend. I wouldn't want a case without a pencil holder! (There are some add-ons you can buy for plain standard cases - check Amazon). When used in open mode, if you flip the cover around the back, the little pencil flap just folds down flat and magnetizes flat. Well designed as a case. I don't think they claim it's super shockproof as its not a heavy rubber case, it is just a light thin plastic shell. It's 7 ounces but almost feels like 1 or 2. The ipad Air 4 weighs about 17 ounces. It's easy to put on, but like most iPad cases, a bit of a pain to get it off again. To my surprise, mine came in light gray when I definitely ordered black (I double checked). I'm sure I can return it but i might keep the light gray for a day to see how i like it.

Value for money
Looks great on Starlight ipad Air. But being of hard plastic, it might crack in the long run.
