This kit is a great combination of everything but the winch line. Almost. Can't have too many options when recovering, right? Still, I would recommend this as a starter kit to have in the pickup.Pros:- The D-Rings and snatch block have the WLL molded into them. Yay! (The D-Rings in particular are marked with 4 3/4"T, which is in contrast to the ridiculous 58,000lb claim in the product listing that is most likely the breaking strength).- The strap lengths are pretty close to advertised, and the straps can handle 17+T<short>. (Note that they advertise "15.9tons", but those are METRIC tons, not SHORT tons as is commonly used in the USA. Units matter.)- The storage bag is heavy duty, has reflective strips sewn in, doubles as a winch line dampener, and has pockets all over!- The included gloves are almost on par with "throw-aways" I get at Home Depot -- in other words, useful a couple of times before disposal. Good item to have in the kit.- If I unfold the bag, it fits behind my crewcab seats.Cons:- The snatch block arrived without grease. It took 2 pumps from a grease gun but should be okay now.- The sheave on the snatch block is unevenly milled (thinner on one side) and a little rough in the channel. Probably fine, but I always worry about premature wear on synthetic winch lines.- Since I'm picking on the snatch block, it is stamped 8000kg which is closer to 8.8T<short> WLL, not the advertised "9ton".- The tree saver is 1.5" short of the 10' claimed on the attached tag. That said, the product listing only claims 8' so I guess the extra length is a bonus! Not a big deal, but if you advertise it... deliver it! (Or over-deliver it?)

I haven't had to use this recovery set yet (knocks wood) but upon reviewing the contents, it seems to be a fairly comprehensive set of items. I was surprised by how sturdy and solid the items are and would certainly expect this set to hold up for the intended use.

I put this in the back of my work van, I do a lot of new construction jobs and sometimes sink in the sand with my heavy load. I currently have to carry different size ropes and Clevis in my van and they are everywhere. These straps are a lot heavier made then I’m currently using so I don’t see any problems with it getting me out. This kit is perfect and well made has everything I need in one bag. Short strap and long strap which is great for how far away you have to be to find solid ground. And there are gloves too. This kit saves a lot of storage space and everything is in one place. Perfect for what I need and a good price for all in one kit. Heavy duty. Very impressed with how heavy duty everything is made. Great to have for the Utv also.

This is a nice entry level package that if combined with a winch and solid understanding of recovery technique would get you out of stuck situation. The bag is robust and large enough for everything offered with room to add other things you may find you need. It has reflective tape on both sides, acts as a line damper when draped over the winch line and uses hook&loop to hold the pockets closed. The 3/4" shackles have rubber washers and anti-rattle devices if you want to leave them mounted but the bag is the right spot to store them. Contrary to the seller's page, the shackles have a working load limit of 9,500 pounds, not 58,000 and are so marked. The tree saver and strap are both of good quality as well with reinforcements around the end loops. Finally, there is a snatch block that has a greasable zerk fitting for the center sheave pin, has a large enough sheave for either synthetic or wire rope though I would recommend having one dedicated to one or the other or just carry two. It's a nice set but understand the difference between working load limit and breaking strength.

I ordered this kit for my small excavating company. One of my tractors is always getting stuck in deep sand or mud. These recovery straps are perfect for pulling them out. This is an excellent kit and includes everything you need and even one thing you don't need. No sure why they included a snatch block you can't use it with this kit, if you have a winch with synthetic line then it is useful. Still nit that they included it. Everything is very heavy duty and well made. This kit will give you years of service.

Use this more like a tree saver with bridle than a tow strap. I prefer something now with a little spring, however with the carry bag, snatch block and these items all you need to do is add on a couple soft shackles and kinetic rope and you have a complete kit IMO - this is a great value and wonderful to toss in an offroad kit to go play.

Great recovery gear that comes in a great carrying case. Love the reflective taping on the carrier, always useful to aid with visibility on the trails or on streets/highways. Comes with gloves which seem decent quality. Size is about a medium, fits well, good velcro. 2 d rings are good options, still prefer soft shackles for their safety profile but these will work as great backups. Color is nice and bright, very visible. Overall, good product and would recommend to fellow jeepers.

This is very heavy duty and well worth the price. Have used them to pull cars and one tractor across the field. Nice storage bag as well.
