buyer beware
SUPER disappointed... couldn't find anywhere that stated the charger and battery wasn't included...BUYER BEWARE..you will have to buy a separate battery and charger to use this... not happy

Dont bother.
I have had this boat for about 3 years, worked fine for awhile, then wouldnt go fast. Even on a fresh battery. Sometimes it will go fast if I grease the prop shaft. But, there was soo much vibration that the motor screw came out. Then the receiver went out, and I replaced that. Was not because it got wet. In a nutshell, everytime I take it out and use it. It is a disappointment. I did not purchase from Amazon, but from a local distributor. But, buyer beware.

24 Inches of Fun!
The 550 motor does just fine and the boat is very stable. (They all flip.) Great acceleration! Dont go with a standard battery (1800mah), get a large mah like 4000+. It wont take a 7-cell without some DIY work, but can take 8.4v if your inclined.Graphics are all high quality (easy to remove) stickers on white.Upgrade to the Stainless Steel prop before it even hits the water.Have fun! (Flip it? Tennis ball on a fishing pole & good aim will get it back)
