EcoScraps for Organic Gardening All-Purpose Plant Food, 4 lbs

This came in a sealed plastic bag inside an Amazon box. Whatever ingredient in this that appeals to dogs caused one of mine to tear through the box AND bag to get to it. He's not some crazy puppy, hes' a chill 15 year old senior. He drug it from one room to another to get to it. VERY toxic to dogs. He threw up several times, LOT, we watched him all night for more serious signs and he came through okay. Probably because he's huge, it most likely could have killed a smaller dog. Beware!

The first time I used it, it molded. It smells off, and never mixes into the soil at all, just sits there and molds.

Loved this, but so did my dog. Beware if you have dogs! My dog tore apart my garden, but what survived did fabulously!

It stinks really bad. I had to move my Myer lemon and its container outside now the flies attracted to the stench have laid eggs and hundreds of maggots!! Ewww gross. It better not kill my lemon tree!!

I offer this as a counter review to the one that's posted now from someone who had the opposite experience I did. I love what this did for my Meyer Lemon tree. I put a major dose of in the container last year and it took off. I only used it on once. After that I've probably used a minimal amount of liquid fertilizer a few times. And here is what it looks like on 10-18-17. I think it worked great.

This organic plant food works well with my avocado tree. I tried other plant foods but could not get any new growth off my tree til I switched to Ecofood, very happy with it, do not have to use a lot, I put some in slightly warm water to dissolve it a bit, then feed my tree. I got new growth on both the avocado tree and my orange tree. Love it and would definitely recommend Ecofood.

I was looking for an organic fertilizer for my citrus plant. Found this and was hopeful this would work. However, 1st of all this claims to be "for organic gardening" but never claims to be organic, nor could it. It's simply made from dried food scrapes, that's not fertilizer, that's essential dried compost. And obviously if the food that was composted was not organic, this won't be either.I tried it anyway hoping this would work, instead my lemon tree appears to be rejecting, it dropped a bunch of leaves and is looking very sickly. I will not be using this product any longer and will just toss this in the trash where it should have stayed in the first place. highly suggest going with a real fertilizer instead of this new-age stuff.

My blue berries are doing fantastic! The biggest problem is keeping my dogs out of the garden. Apparently this smells really good to them and they want to eat it. Well it is organic...… But I don't let them!
