Awesome and beefy
Solid. Don’t cheap out for the knockoffs. These are the purchase.

Don't order anything else
These are simply amazing. I have them underneath an 1100MX Tormach CNC mill, an 8x20 foot Avid CNC plasma cutter, a Precision Mathews PM-932M milling machine, and a Haas VF2. They work perfectly in each application.Be careful tho, and don't order any of the other imitation products that are out there. I've tried a few of them trying to save on price and none of them even work properly, much less stand up to these. If you have heavy stuff you want to move sometimes, but most of the time want to remain sturdy and level, these are hands down the best option available.

balance
1100lb? not even close. may be 200lb for each wheel. This caster wheel has a major design flaw. When the rubber feet extends and supports the weight, my cnc table still doesn't get stablized. The caster vibrates when I run the cnc machine. The vibration point is between the caster body (the metal case) and above the roller bearings. There is a hexagon shape locking mechanism on the top of the caster. This hexagon lock touches the table leg which is good. But it doesn't lock the caster body. There are ball bearings between the hexagon lock and the caster body. They still play due to the free movement of the ball bearings between the caster body and hexagon lock! It freely transfers the vibration! It must have a way to lock the caster body. Man... It's so dumb design. I don't get it. I may have to return all 4 and find something else.

Great product but poor packaging.
Received 4 casters in an Amazon box, but 3 of the 4 are missing the 1/2 inch stems and nut. Trying to get this resolved but haven't had much luck so far.

Solid, well-built caster
While pricey, these casters are well built and very solid when the feet are deployed. The leveling/ratchet feature works well even with a heavy load on them - time will tell if the hardware will hold up. I used on a 4' x 7' assembly/outfeed table and installed the casters using Ez-Lok 329-801 threaded inserts in 4"x4" pine legs. With the leveling feature, I was able to precisely adjust the height of the table to my table saw height. Overall, these casters are highly recommended.

Great Casters
Used four of the FOOTMASTER GDR-80S casters to build a custom mobile base for my 1950s Davis and WElls 20" bandsaw, which weighs about 800 lbs. Maybe a little overkill, but I'm confident these will not fail. The ratcheting mechanism seems well made and when lowered down on the feet, the saw is very sturdy.

The best heavy duty caster when you need rigidity.
If you own a CNC machine, these casters are the idea way to load and unload a 4'x 8' CNC wood router using a drop trailor. Also, you can move anywhere in your shop very easily. Don't get an imitation. Footmaster is the Crescent or the Vise Grips of the heavy duty caster market. Some come close, but these are the best.

Great for table saw
I installed this on my cabinet saw (Powermatic 66) that is very heavy. I had to separately buy longer hex bolts but these casters are rock solid. Saw can easily be moved now. Recommended.
