These are exactly what you need if you have a heavy object that is usually stationary but needs to be moved from time to time. The If you're going to buy Footmaster casters, buy rachet model. After having used the ratchet, I can't imagine being able to use the models that you'd raise and lower anything very heavy by turning the dial with your foot.

Pro:Excellent quality! These are heavy duty and rolls smoothly. They can roll OR raise up to sit stationery.Con:Pricey. When wheeling back and forth, the locking (raising) mechanism engages and you’ll have to lower them. More of a pain than anything. After a while you get a feel for when it’s happenjng and can prevent it by wheeling in the opposite direction.In summary:I have 4 wheels on the bottom of a fabric cutting table. They are a great buy. I give it 4 stars because of the locking issue.
