Son requested putty - which seemed random, so after searching landed on this kit. We’ve had Aaron’s before and it’s high quality, and this didn’t disappoint. It was fun for him to make different types, and the small canisters are easy to take on the go.

Small but will entertain your kids. Comes with small tins of clear putty and very small packets of glitter color putty. Knead the glitter color putty provided into clear putty (red, blue, black, white, ect.) to create. Alot of kneading to mix but that's the part that keeps them busy.My first grader enjoyed mixing and thinking she was making her own creation. While playing, we refreshed color combination, good fun learning.Slime is in but I rather have putty. To me it's less messy, doesn't pick up every piece of lint, and not so runny to make shapes with.

This is an incredible product. It doesn't make a mess. It doesn't stick to your skin. The colors are bright and vibrant. The color combinations are endless. It will definitely entertain young and old for hours.My only complaint is the very skimpy amount that you get. I didn't believe the reviews that talked about how little putty you actually get. But, unfortunately they were all absolutely correct. The amount you get is literally at best a tablespoon if that much. If there was more putty included I would have given this kit 5 stars and more if I could. But, please Crazy Aaron, there needs to be a bit more putty included in the kits.

Update: I decided to move my rating up drop 3 stars to 4 because after having the putty for awhile, I can say that it is high quality stuff compared to other putty I've found. And even though it does pick up hair and things off the floor, it can be pulled off and cleaned fairly well.I got this for my 4.75 yr old son who has sensory processing (spd) issues to use at home like he does with his occupational therapy. It's good putty, had pretty good stretch and doesn't seem to dry out easily (it was also very bouncy, which I wasn't happy about but he loved of course). I was happy the glitter came premixed in putty, however, 3 of the 5 tins had putty leaked out into the box and they were very difficult to get open. Also, the colored pencils did not work well on the activity mat included. As you can see in the picture, the total amount of putty you get is okay (about a half cup) but overall I wasn't impressed, considering how expensive it was.

I got this for my son as a part of his homeschool kit aand he loves it. He enjoyed making the colors, particularly the glitter ones, its really pretty and surprise feature is if you put it in a ball shape, it bounces! So overall really cool and when he gets frustrated with his work or just in general and starts having a melt down, moving it around in his hand helps him to calm down.

This looks like fun, although it is small. I purchased it as a gift so cannot say how it is to use - will have to update later with that but this looks like a fun idea.Crazy Aarons has a whole collection of various color and special effect putties - this one is a starter kit with 5 little tins of clear putty and an assortment of color glitters to mix in.Cons: The tins are teensy - only 1.5 to 2 inches wide and thin. The mixing mat is just a piece of shiny hardboard, nothing to write home about. The colored pencils were missing. So - great idea but a little stingy for my taste. It will do but I would most likely not buy this again because its a little 'cheap' and missing parts

Our kids loved this set. It included a bunch of things for them to do and kept them busy for a while. This is good for multiple uses.
