I doubt your guitar was made to work with the Xbox 360. I could be wrong. If the manual says your guitar can, then maybe the USB breakaway cable is defective. **Q: does it work with afterglow controller** A: That's what I bought it for. It worked perfectly. **Q: Does it work with Rocksmith?** A: It should work for any Xbox360 accessory that supports the break away cable. **Q: do you guys think this cable would work on an original xbox controller to plug it into my computer** A: Since its a standard USB plug I would think your computer would search and download whatever it needed to communicate with the controller.
