For a turnout double-solenoid machine, it does not get much more compact than this. A mounting plate that fits the tabs is available separately, or I wing it: bend the tabs, and then use 4 screws butted up against the tabs to hold the unit up.

Awesome little motors. They are incredible strong and reliable for their size. They work best if used with a Peco Capacitor. If using with the Capacitor it will protect the motor against a constant charge, this is what destroys the motors. The Capacitor sends a full reliable surge of power, it will not recharge until the "micro style switch" is released and it's ready for the next turnout.

These switch motors can be concealed if installed correctly,which is a nice feature and PECO has a high quality standard. I have started to switch to buying their products instead. Because they have overall better quality product against other companies. you wont be sorry you purchased this.
