The Night Before Second Grade

Bought for my grandson who is going in 2nd grade, we read it together and it was really cute. This one is about 2 boys and he has a best friend that lives behind him. So the story really hit home for him. So cute and wished I'd started with the very first book. Apparently so popular the teacher had it on her wish list lol. Told him to take it to school and have classmates sign it. A good purchase, especially since I'm a book lover and always like buying him books.

Cute story in the series. My kids love "the night before" books and requested this before school started this year.

Purchased copies for a new 2nd grader! I give these books to kids as entering kindergarten , 1st grade and now 2nd grade. Love the author, Natasha Wing. She is an incredible writer. Night before Thanksgiving, Night before the 4th of July. Night before Kindergarten, Night before St. Patricks Day and more titles!

We purchase these books every single year for our daughter to read/have read on the night before school begins for the year. This year did not disappoint. She loves these books.

We made some wonderful memories together as a family the night before 2nd grade. Shipping was super fast, the price was good, and the book was fun! We recommend.

*spoiler alert.I love this author and this series. My kids always ask for the appropriate version for their grade. In this one though, the boys teacher is his dad. So it’s not a relatable ending to help prep for the first day of school. In fact, I feel like if your dad was a teacher they’d not put you in his class. lol. It’s cute but not as helpful as the others for first day nerves

This is really cute. I read it to my Grade 2 students and they really enjoyed it. After we finished the book we discussed how they got ready for second grade.
