I was surprised when I got these and the material was really soft like sweatpants. I doubted they would hold up well and I was correct. I use six fenders on my boat. Two of them are under pretty heavy use where the wind pretty constantly blows the boat against the dock. The other four are under use much more sporadically like when another boat ties up to me or when it just tends in an unusual manner. In any case, the two under load wore through within about 3 months and I'll need to replace them with more durable covers. For the other four, I'll continue to use them because they seem to be effective at preventing the sun exposure from damaging the plastic fenders. Since they are cheap, they are worth the price as long as you aren't going to put them to any real fending work.

These are really pretty nice, just expensive. They go on quickly and easily and cinch in close to the lines covering the whole fender. Thick and soft material. Much easier than trying to clean old fenders and nicer for your hull.

After only 3 weeks there are holes in two of them and the others showing badly worn areas. My boat slip is so protected it barely gets any action, so although they fit perfectly and looked great in the beginning, they turned out to be junk.

Bought the navy ones - 4 of them. Very nice covers. Have already had many compliments on them. A do again if we ever need to.
