SmellGood32oz African Ivory Shea Butter From SOFT & CREAMY

Really like this shea butter but a few tips:It's hard to use out of the container. I use a spoon to scrape out the shea butter in thin layers and put it into smaller containers. It makes it softer and easier to manage (I think kind of middle of the road where you are added air to the product but not actually whipping which I might try at some point!).Also depending on which seller you buy from, sometimes it's more yellow tinged and translucent (from Crispy Beauty) (softer) versus more grey and stiff (alhilm) After scraping both with a spoon and putting into new containers, both get softer.

Initially was was so upset with the product. She butter is something that you take time to use and sometimes there is inconsistency of matter within such a large bulk order. So it took me longer than the return period to see if this was really just bad Shea or just Shea character (Shea users know what I mean). Turns out my Shea was a bad batch. But the seller addressed my issue and I will buy this again in the future.

I was skeptical about this stuff, but I've been using it for the past three days and I love it! The tub is HUGE. It should last me for a couple months. I only use it on my hair and body. The tub arrived cracked, but that's to be expected. Many reviews said they're tub arrived cracked. Easy fix because I can just transfer it to a new container! I'm not sure if it's actually 32 oz., maybe 28. I don't mind. The smell is very interesting. You can definitely tell it's from Africa once you smell it! It smells kind of nutty & earthy. The leaves my skin moisturized all day. My skin is so soft! My dark spots & stretch marks seem to be fading very slowly as well. Hopefully, this will give my skin that glow I've been looking for! This product is a BIT grainy. Only slightly, it's barely noticeable. It's also pretty creamy. I noticed I don't feel a need to melt this butter. i just scoop some out and rub my hands together to melt it. I recommend!

Crappy original container - broken when received. Not a huge deal as I put it in my own mason jar containers anyway. Besides that it's a good product and I use it for everything - removing makeup, deep conditioning my hair, face and body moisturizer at night (too heavy for day use imo).

Yes it took ages to arrive but it was coming from Africa. Yes the container was broken upon arrival but the contents were in no way damaged by this. This product is amazing!!! I use it for everything. My lips, my skin, my tattoos, my hair... the list goes on. It has almost no smell and what little smell it does have is natural and pleasant. It may seem a little gritty as you warm it up in your hands but this is an allusion as the granuals disintegrate as it melts. My favourite is how it is making my hair healthier. Once a week I work it into my scalp and hair and let it sit overnight. No more itchy dry scalp and my hair seems thicker and seems to grow faster. Yes it does look greasy but it washes out easily with shampoo. I love all natural products that are multi purpose and this is one of them. Plus 32 oz lasts a long time.

I loved the product but after weighing determined the container did not contain 32 oz. It was only about 25 oz! I ordered this to make cold process soap and needed 30 oz, so it was very upsetting to find I did not have enough product.

I use this for soap making and for whipped body butter. Great price and quality. I like the idea of the deli style container, easier to get out verses companies who sell it in a bag. However, the bottom of the container was busted.

Consistently THE BEST grade Shea Butter I can find. This is my 5th order and I've tried all different sizes. They are always the same great Shea. Please remember this Shea is unrefined meaning in its natural state. Color varies based an climate and other factors but is not an indication of quality. Shea butter can be yellow, pale tan or in between. Also it should not be gritty. It may have a soft, creamy subtle grit to it but that should disappear once dissolved or warmed. It should NEVER leave grit behind. This is the ONLY Shea I trust.
