Solid wood and crafted really well.
This is a really solid table top with a very smooth and well finished top. The finish is a nice medium oak-like color, not too dark or too light. The bottom is unfinished, but it's more suited to screw into table legs and keyboard trays or anything else that needs to be done to it. It's very durable and I've seen no issues with warping. It's also most likely the best price I've seen online for a hand-made top of this size.

Beautiful top
Really beautiful countertop that I used as a top for my wine fridge. Really well made and finished nicely. The metal anti-warp bars are recessed nicely. Came from overseas but I received it faster than 90% of Amazon packages that come from US.

Great Quality for Price
After doing several days of research before I purchased any sort of butcher block, I decided to go with this one: 1) budget of $300-$350 2) shade of wood 3) quality 4) size of wood 23”x60” 4) Bonus you can buy insurance. With that said; with the purchase of insurance my total order with shipping came out to be $431.00. It was a little past my budget but I was ok with that. The packaging was great, styrofoam edges, the box did come a little damaged but nothing too insane. With regard to the wood piece; mine came with two slightly damaged corners, which I have facing the wall so no one sees, I must say they were small enough to still keep it. However on the underside of table there was a rather large gash in the wood right around the center but because it was the underside of table I still decided to keep it. With saying all of that if either of these damages were any bigger I probably would have sent it back for an exchange. It still is an excellent piece of wood and I have insurance for 5 years for accidents. This wood can be replaced I think that is why I was ok with the very little damaged it came with.My table legs are separate and I purchased a height adjustable desk frame from Amazon and it works great! Now the tabletop is 24”x60” I probably wouldn’t mind this tabletop to be a little larger in both directions somewhere around 28”x65” it does feel a little smaller then I wanted but there again I was on a budget.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and love the way the tabletop looks on my height adjustable desk.

heavy duty table top
It was a little bigger than I needed at 23.6 x 45.25. However, I was able to modify it and it came out fine.

Beautiful piece of wood, but marred by a poor repair
Update:Updated to 3 stars because Amazon were quick to offer a partial refund to cover the cost of minor repairs (or a full refund/replacement which I declined since I had already assembled it into a table)Bought this wood and a set of legs to make a custom kitchen table. I was really happy with the result until I placed it near the window and the light revealed that a piece of the wood had been repaired before manufacture. There is an obvious line of glue along a split and a little blob of dried glue to one side. It's a real shame as the wood is fantastic looking otherwise. It's going to be really annoying to return as I've already assembled it. :(

Not a butcher block
Got it to replace the top on an electric standing desk. Though it was butcher block but it is something else. Definitely solid wood. But to light to be butcher block woods. Still working out great for me

Terrible quality and not worth at all
The board looks very different from its photos listed. It has a cheap look and poor quality. I used it to make a table. But it is definitely not worth $300+. Last week I cleaned the surface with damp towel, I was totally shocked to see water marks and damages. The surface is not waterproof at all. What should I do now? Any suggestions?

Exactly as adertised
Used this tabletop to upgrade my home office desk situation. Recycled Ikea legs when Ikea laminated cardboard didn't stand up to use and cleaning. Happy to say that the finish on my top was just as shown in the pics here. Nice midtone finish. If you're thinking of attaching legs, this may help--the pilots I drilled were with a 1/8" bit and that worked perfectly with the 1/8" x 3/4" screws from Ikea. Meaning that the wood isn't super hard. Just started using the result, so will update if I have further feedback later. Right now I'm very happy.
