The book arrived as expected

With Statecraft Margaret Thatcher takes us for a walk through the last quarter of the 20th century and provides us with her interpretations of the challenges we face at the dawn of the 21st. To be clear she provides ample evidence in defense of the policies she and Ronald Reagan laid down in the 1980's and a perspective that only can come from one who was intimately involved. But more importantly she provides a lucent examination the framework upon which international relations are conducted in the world today. This is not one of those lightweight looks at globalization found in the business section but rather a remarkably broad, deep and insightful look at the forces that have shaped international relations today. A must for anyone truly interested in international relations regardless of your politics.

I bought the book for its signature. I like the book but would have been better prepared for the autograph had there been a more detailed description. Margaret Thatcher had personalized the book for someone else which greatly effects the value for an investment

I bought this book used but the book was just as good as if it hadn't ever been read. This book was recommended by a friend and he was right on as Margaret Thatcher was an amazing woman.

The speeches of Margaret Thatcher are insights into the values conservatism in a liberal society. Well worth the read.

I purchased this book after reading its review in the WSJ. If you love history you will love this book.

Big fan of Thatcher but this is such a waste of space it must surely not have been entirely her work. You may be be shocked/peeved to find that this reads more like some kind of bland all-in-one=together Euro socio-economic 101 course than a book by a great leader and statesman on being one (as its title suggests). Even on the econ Thatcher's Neo-Classical soul must have been mugged by some warped Euro-Marxist ghostwriter as she parrots on here how Russia is "different" and Japan "special", structural rigidities and blah blah blah. Try Thatcher's many memoirs (Downing Street Years)if you want the real Iron Lady.

Very good book, written in her style. I purchased a second hand copy in very good condition. I opened the front page to see it had been signed by the lady herself. Now one of my prized possessions.

I thought the book condition wasn't exactly as described. It is in fair condition and will not deter from my perceived anticipation of reading Dame Thatcher's book. I purchased the book because she showed great Statesmanship in her experiences with dealing with the EU.

One of the most interesting books I have ever read. It is great to find out what Thatcher thought on the many political issues of this country and the world. It is very analytical and thorough. I strongly recommend it to any one interested in British and world affairs.

As always, Mrs Thatcher writes with aplomb, and as ever she was spot on in her analysis
