Purchased this light fan combo in 2022. It was an easy install, looked ok, functioned as described by seller. One year 6 months later, the light flickers all the time making it an nuisance even if on for a short time. The cost for this fan unit was pricey now realizing there is no way to replace the light. DO NOT BUY!

The light worked for two months and had been blinking like a strobe light since then. The fan still works, but since this is only overhead light in my kitchen, having the light portion fail is a problem. It's not worth your money. Buy from someplace else.

The light fixture looks good. The fan has a very powerful air flow but because of the light, the air flow can only be felt when standing directly under it. Overall, pleased with the purchase. Functions very well in a room with a 7 foot ceiling.

Purchased two of these lights/fans. They were in only a few months and the lights began to flicker on both of them. Almost a year later and flicker just goes on and on... No way to change out the bulbs to stop the flicker. Not recommended for long time usage. But they look great.

Some damage to one of the sides, beyond that I love this fan!

The media could not be loaded. 7.26.22 Updated review:I finally got around to setting up this fan. I have a fan and a light wall switch to connect a ceiling fan to control the necessary functions.The mounting plate seems sturdy, but unnecessarily complicated, I had a hard time pulling the wires from the ceiling through the gaps of the mounting plate.The fan has an exposed white/black/yellow-green (neutral) wires. It also has other smaller wires that controls the remote control box (don't need to do anything with those). I connected the respective wires and popped the fan in.After installing the fan, I wasn't able to mount it flush to the ceiling, and it was left with about 1/4 of an inch gap.. which annoyed the heck out of me.The remote is pretty self explanatory with fan and light on/off, fan speed, light temperature and brightness and timers.The fan itself is pretty quiet and adequate for a small room. I felt the breeze better when sitting directly underneath the fan. It works like a normal standing fan, but mounted to the ceiling.There is a red switch that turns on an external fan that oscillates in reverse direction... I am not certain of that function... presumably, it acts like a switch to change the air flow for summer/winter...? I stood under neath the fan and didn't feel any different with the red switchbon/off... it also makes a rhythmic buzzing sound every 10 seconds or so.As for the wall switch, it doesn't 'save' the previous setting with the light temperature/brightness/fan speed. I've learned that repratedly flipping the switch on/off quickly cycles through different settings, i.e., turns on only the light setting I had previously, cooler light, warmer light, and fan only with both fans oscillating. If I pause a bit longer in between flipping the light switch, I only get the light setting I had (see video).Overall, it did end up looking pretty decent, I don't have to wire the remote control box like my other ceiling fans and itnis relatively lightweight compared to other fans for me to install it by myself.So for now, I added 1 more ⭐️ for the appearance and the functions.Original review:Initial impression right out-of the box was a bit disappointing. Itnis a generic fan with a decorative outer rim...The instructions were poorly written in my opinion, and I have not set it up yet because I noticed several cracks... I waited for a while for the product to show up but I'm not at all excited about setting this fan up.This is over priced and cheaply made. I'll update the review after the set up.
