So far, so good
So far so good. I’m not having any problems at all and what a joy to turn a computer on and have it boot up in less than 20 minutes. I use a desktop for very little, so was happy to buy a refurbished unit for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

how low can you get!
it clearly says (512 gb SSD) I got (475 gb SSD) but wait it don't stop here. next it also clearly says (CPU Speed 4 GHz) this is what I got (Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz).this was pulled right from amazon's page.Brand DellOperating System Windows 11 ProCPU Model Core i7CPU Speed 4 GHzCache Size 12 MBGraphics Card Description IntegratedGraphics Coprocessor Intel UHD Graphics 630Memory Storage Capacity 512 GBMemory Slots Available 2Specific Uses for Product Personalalso, I opened the system up to add a hard drive and it will not close backup. I tried for about 30 mins. next the paint on the door is bubbled.when installing windows, it takes 3 times longer to get done. also, its full of boat wear.the only thing I can say good about it is it is snappy so far, I didn't see any lagging.not sure about sending it back or not.

Great for daily browsing or....
So I only bought this mainly to use as a "server" used for Minecraft for a group of my buddies and myself. Long story short ITS GREAT! fast enough to get Internet browsers open and transfer to another site as long as your Wi-Fi is good. The amount of storage you have for a server in general is crazy the amount of mods you can put on here and just run with your server is crazy 🤣. Cheap especially for a good CPU and amount of ram(32 gigs DDR4 which is as much as most mid to high end gaming pcs have). Can recommend. Only thing I wish they would do is not cheap out and at least update some of the specs like the CPU cooler so it's not as loud other than that GREAT

I love this desktop and TekRefurbs is amazing!
The Short Version: (Please skip this as it has spoilers if you prefer to read ‘The Long Version’.)16 GB RAM, 1 TB M.2 SSD. I noticed a vibration from the CPU fan and contacted TekRefurbs and they are shipping me a new fan. Their response time was quick and they were eager to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I added 16 GB more RAM, a 2.5 inch SSD, a low-profile graphics card (supports up to 3 monitors), and a dual M.2 card along with 2 more M.2 SSDs. With the 2 DP ports and HDMI port on the motherboard, I ACTUALLY RAN 6 MONITORS (all at once) while streaming 6 different videos on YouTube. I picked this up to replace my DELL Optiplex 9020 which is too old for Windows 11. (As of now, Microsoft has stated that they will be ending their support for Win 10 by the end of 2024.) Running Crystal Disk Mark I got transfer rates of 1.7 GBps (read) and 1.1 GBps (write) on the SSD that came with the computer and 2 GBps (read) and 1.6 GBps (write) on the HP M.2 SSD I added. **UPDATE: I replaced one of my M.2 SSDs with a fanxiang S660 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD and now get the following speeds (read) 3.5 GBps and (write) 3.1 GBps. They actually make faster M.2s but they far exceed the capability of the motherboard.I’m thrilled with both the computer and customer service couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The Long Version:I have purchased over 1,000 items from Amazon over the past decade and I only give reviews on the best (or the worst) items I have ordered. The renewed DELL Optiplex 7060 SFF I got from TekRefurbs is amazing and so is their customer support. (I had a little vibration with the CPU fan and I sent them a message about it, they replied the next business day and offered to send a replacement.) Awesome service! With Microsoft stating that they will be ending their support for Windows 10 towards the end of 2024, I decided to replace my Optiplex 9020 SFF (not Win 11 compatible) now, rather than wait for a possible shortage of affordable/renewed Win 11 computers in the future. (As of now, the vast majority of people are still running Win 10.)The model that I got was the 16 GB/ 1 TB version (other variants may be sold by different vendors). When I opened the box (and even the case) it looked like it was brand new, I couldn’t find even the smallest amount of dust anywhere. Included with the desktop was a free wireless mouse & keyboard and a few BT & WiFi dongles in addition to the built-in features from the motherboard itself. (Even without the dongles, I still have BT & WiFi connectivity.) **Models sold by TekRefurbs come with the built-in M.2 WiFi card which supports both 5 & 2.4 Ghz but for the fun of it I replaced it with the AX210 WiFi 6E Card M.2 NGFF and connected it to the 2 internal antennas.Display Support: While some desktops (from other sellers) only have 2 Display Ports (DP) and either a VGA port (or missing the 3rd port), mine came with 2 DPs and an HDMI port. (Nice touch!) While being able to connect to 3 monitors (off of the motherboard) is nice, I added an inexpensive VisionTek Products Radeon 6350 SFF 1GB DDR3 3M DMS59 with 2X DVI-I to VGA Adapter Graphics Card that adds support for an additional 3 monitors AND I RAN A TOTAL OF 6 MONITORS AT ONCE while streaming different videos on each monitor. Granted, I’m not a gamer so I’m not concerned with Frames Per Second (FPS) but it did actually work (I normally just run 3 monitors stacked vertically – one on top of each other).Storage Capacity (hard drives): This model, like most of the DELL SFF cases have 3 SATA ports and the newer models have a space for an M.2 SSD. The model I purchased came with a 1 GB M.2 SSD and the DVD drive and the cables were provided to connect a second hard drive as well. There is room for a 3.5 inch hard drive or you can get an adapter to mount the smaller 2.5 inch drive if you wish (there are adapters that can hold up to three 2.5 inch drives in a single 3.5 inch slot). But why settle for just one additional hard drive when you can have a total of FOUR HARD DRIVES? Thanks to the Dual M.2 PCIE Adapter for SATA or PCIE NVMe SSD with Advanced Heat Sink Solution,M.2 SSD NVME (m Key) and SATA (b Key) 22110 2280 2260 2242 2230 to PCI-e x 4 Host Controller Expansion Card, you can have up to 3 M.2 SSDs plus one 2.5 inch SSD. ***You can also get the M.2 NVME to PCIe 3.0 x4 Adapter with Aluminum Heatsink Solution (single M.2 slot) and add up to two additional 2.5 inch SSDs. I actually recommend getting this card instead of the one I purchased because the second M.2 slot has to connect to one of the SATA ports from the motherboard so the transfer speed is the same as if you connected a 2.5 inch SSD (which are cheaper). Running Crystal Disk Mark I got transfer rates of 1.7 GBps (read) and 1.1 GBps (write) on the M.2 SSD that came with the computer and 2 GBps (read) and 1.6 GBps (write) on the HP M.2 SSD I added.RAM: The model I purchased came with 16 GB RAM (two 8 GB chips) which was nice because I added an additional 16 GB RAM for a small price. (32 GB is more than enough RAM for most applications.)Free Extras: The extra dongles, mouse and keyboard are nice touches and pretty good quality as well. I admit that I haven’t tested them because I used a lighted keyboard (wired) and Logitech Trackball.Summary: Whether you are using the computer ‘as is’ or you want to upgrade it, this is an excellent choice for an affordable and (still) powerful system that will carry you through the Windows 11 lifespan (and probably beyond). Despite this being the Small Form Factor (SFF) model, there is room to add a (low profile) graphics card, USB-C 3.2 card, M.2 card or whatever you wish. (Just be mindful of the power requirements of the graphics cards - this comes with a 200 watt power supply.)

Terrific value for a Windows 1 computer
The computer arrived beautifully and carefully packaged. other than a couple tiny nicks in the paint on the rear you can not tell the computer from factory new. It works perfectly in every way and I am truly delighted with this purchase

Solid PC with Win11
I purchased this for my father who was running a Win10 PC and was concerned with the pending end-of-life for that OS and his current PC was 10 years old and unable to be upgraded. So after doing a lot of research I decided to take a chance on this PC and this supplier. It's the first time I didn't purchase a PC either from Dell or HP direct. The supplier offered me to change the PC to the small factor one and I accepted. It came with an upgrade to Win11 and that was completed. My Dad paid someone to migrate the files from his old PC to this one and after several months he's very happy with this PC.He checks emails, some internet sites, some spreadsheets etc so it's not used for gaming or high-intensity. My sister also uses it for the same reasons. My Dad used to complain about how long it took his old PC to boot up so I told him he'd notice a change and he loves how fast it boots. The SSHD definitely makes a difference in boot-up time.I would recommend this PC and this supplier

Check the CPU cooler
When I first started the computer, the CPU cooler fan was running at max. speed (noisy). I ran Novabench & the score was only 1336 & the clock speed was only 2.7 GHZ with a CPU score of only 720. I shut it down & removed the CPU cooler to find a glob of thermal paste on the CPU which wasn't in contact with the CPU cooler. I re-installed the cooler, making sure it was tight & contacting the CPU. I re-ran Novabench, now the score is 2038, the clock speed is 4.3 GHZ with a CPU score of 1406 & the CPU cooler fan is now running at normal (quiet) speed. See the attached score sheet. Other than this I'm very pleased with the computer & would have given it 5 stars. Also, the CPU temp. was 85C. at first, after tightening the CPU cooler it was 25C.
