Hidden Spy Camera in Bluetooth Speaker

We have a cat that is peeing on furniture but we don't know which one. We purchased this camera to detect when the peeing was occurring and by which one. Here are my observations after having it for almost a week.1. The set up was confusing. The app worked better on my iPad than on my android phone. Instructions in the included booklet were not terribly helpful, but did make it very clear that they do not cover all the features, only the most important ones.2. 'After it was set up using the phone, it looked good, but then was offline again and wouldn't get back online.3. Guess what? Notifications need to be on always. That means that in a busy room, aka our living room, there are constant notifications coming in. Bluetooth must be on 100% of the time.4. When I was trying to play a video on my phone, it started streaming to the speaker. What's the issue with that? I was across the house, and my husband was in the living room trying to watch a movie.4. I still do not know how to get a wider viewing angle, and the only way to view the area needed, is to physically turn the camera on the speaker. If there is a way in the app, as it says, it is not easily found.5. A pet peed. We went to check the device. I can get to the file, but when I click on the file to upload to my computer, the file is apparently corrupt. Is this an issue with the sd card? An issue with the file recorded? Idk. There's a 40.9 mb file that won't open on any of our devices, android or apple. What good is that?The good:It's attractive. It works on 2.4 or 5 for the channels - not many do both. It allows me 100% drop in and view what is happening.If anyone has help for me, knows how to make the camera move in the eccap app (or found a better app that the one the company uses), knows why my file is not readable, etc., please reply and let me know!

This camera is great as day time stealth quality( NOT 2K-4K) LIES really[720- or 1080p] the night vision is like blind bat (not there) only visible with some light. Camera need better video stabilizer image can become blury at times. Not worth the high price or poor quality. Buy at your own Risk.

Not what they say. No customer support, don't answer questions. Night vision does not work, not real night vision. Videos don't save even with an SD Card that's formatted. When they did save to a folder on my phone that mysteriously appeared days later, they dissappeared. Constantly disconnects. When I record live videos, they save randomly & the important ones did not save at all. I've tried several times. It won't let you delete anything on the app, they always come back after you do. It definitely DOES NOT loop record. Anything I recorded over a few minutes is not saved. Many of the saved pictures are corrupted & you can't view them. Nothing ever comes up under "Device Video" I will be returning this. The quality is low for the price you pay & too many issues.

Save your money and buy something different. The entire thing is very cheaply made!! Could not even use it because it would never connect. The app to this device is garbage and the things you can do (very minimum) is not at all user friendly. The Bluetooth speaker part of this is absolute junk this too doesnt ever connect like it should. It connected once and that was it!!!!Definitely NOT worth the money that it is being sold for. SAVE YOUSELF TIME AND MONEY and DO NOT BUY!!

The speaker/camera emits its own Ad-hoc network to tell it what wifi network to connect to. You download the proprietary ECCAM app, connect your phone/tablet to its ad-hoc network "IPC_XXX", click 'Next'. The 'next' button does nothing, and I am at a dead-end. I tried multiple devices, and despite the multiple app alerts in Chinese, I'm boxing it up and sending it back. This is the only app to get this thing connected, and I have reason to believe the 1.8 stars it has been given.

Should have better direction and a place to call for help

The camera wasn't what I thought it would be. Looking for a smaller easier to set up camera.
