Works Smoothly!
I recently upgraded to this Dual Gear Extruder for my Ender 3 v2 and I have been blown away by the results. The installation process was straightforward and the included instructions were easy to follow.Since making the upgrade, I have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of my prints. The dual gear design allows for more precise filament control, resulting in smoother and more detailed prints. I have also noticed a reduction in filament stripping and jamming, which has been a constant issue for me in the past.Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of this extruder and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the performance of their printer.

Worked at first, but not after 6 hours of machine time.
2023-AprWorked like a champ when first installed, but is now so loose around the long-screw at the lever hinge pole that it doesn’t print, instead skipping about 30% of the filament movement. Can work around by providing downward force at the lever tip by holding or clamping, but that is crude and can interfere with printer operations.I’ve noticed that the lever LIFTS at the hinge end when I clamp the tip to the extruder motor to “fix” the problem. I think the parts inside the lever hinge area are undersized which lets them wollow around under stress until they are SO loose that they become non functional. Closer tolerance and a bit of lubricant might be a better manufacturing method.Looks great! Two steel Hobbed gears. Hits all the checkpoints. But it doesn’t work right after a modest bit of print time. Sadness. I had high hopes.

Perfect fit for Ender 3
This Bowden filament driver greatly upgrades the stock ender 3 driver. The second gear grips the filament tighter allowing better retractions and faster print speeds. It was easy to install and worked flawlessly compared to the stock one.

Nice Upgrade, Could Use Small Improvement
I ordered this to replace the stock extruder on my BIQU B1 SE Plus, which was slipping a bit and didn’t have adjustable tension. It turned out that my slipping wasn’t due to the extruder, rather it was the stepper motor current. I bumped the current up from 800mA to 850mA and that solve the problem, but I’d already installed this extruder, so I’m still using it.After I calibrated the E steps, this extruder prints beautifully. The listing says to use a value of 139, which was pretty close. I want to say that 138.7 is what I ended up using, but 139 should be close enough. The extruder works flawlessly, and while there aren’t any included instructions, it’s a pretty straightforward process. It is critical that the toothed grooves on the stepper motor gear is precisely aligned with the other other one. If there is any misalignment, you will get a huge pile of ground plastic in the extruder, which I experienced first-hand. I readjusted the gear, and now it is printing without grinding plastic - mostly. This extruder sits higher than the stock one, so the filament break sensor is too low to use. I will raise the sensor up as soon as I get the longer screw delivered, but for now, I’m just bypassing the sensor. I have my filament running directly from the spool into the extruder, and this is where I’m still seeing some plastic shavings. The hole where the filament goes in must have a sharp edge in it somewhere, so it shaves the filament where it threads in. I’m sure that this will be solved after I start using the filament sensor again and the filament is threaded in straight. This would have been perfect if they included standoffs and longer screws to raise the filament break sensor, but it’s an easily solved problem since you have a 3D printer after all. This is a really nice extruder, and it produces better results than the stock one.

Never have a skipped extrusion of filament again
We all been there in the 3D printing world. Your print is going well and then all of a sudden you see a missed layer or extrusion command and your print is ruined. This will solve the issue especially when you are using soft materials like TPU. It grips the filament tightly enough to feed though the tube but not so much as to distort or deform it. It's just the right amount of pressure and that can also be adjusted with the tension screw. It's all metal so no more plastic extruders breaking in the middle of a 8 hour print. It's is the ultimate upgrade for older printers to metal gears and metal housing. Excellant and a must have for any any 3D printer.

Requires Setup
Its very bulky and big, which is good. But the only issue is that once you install it you will have to set it up in software, either using slicer settings or more preferable changing the software on the printer so the extrusion settings are correct. This probably won't be a install and go component in most scenarios

Better is Always Better
I just installed an upgrade Extruder and it is working satisfactorily for now, but then I saw this dual gear extruder and realized that it is an even better upgrade than the upgrade that I am currently running. I have not yet installed this, but I have examined it and believe that it should be an easy install and prove to be more robust. At my next maintenance or repair cycle, I will swap out the extruders and, if warranted, I will return here for an update.

No hay ninguna explicación de montaje..
Al menos que se describa el montaje porque para principiantes como yo nos cuesta la misma vida montarlo sin ninguna instrucción de nada
