Flashlights iKustar T6 LED Handheld Torches Flashlights Brightness With Adjustable Focus And 5 Light Modes, Outdoor Water Resistant for Comping Hiking etc (Black, T6-2)…

In putting together our 72 hour kits I wanted to find a good flashlight that was not only lightweight but also waterproof, smaller, and easy for all ages to use. I found all that and more with the iKustar T6 High Power Handheld Tactical LED Torches Flashlight. This flashlight has an easy zoom by pulling or pushing the top of the flashlight with one hand, while holding the bottom with the other hand. While zoomed all the way in it does make a weird shape (noted in the pictures), and not the normal circle shape like most flashlights. The iKustar also has a flashing setting, along with an S.O.S. setting. That is one of the main reasons I purchased this particular flashlight, being that it is for our 72 hour kits and having kids that range in ages from 6-15, the S.O.S. setting and knowing that they would each have something that would be able to signal for help with the push of a button would be great! Then to have it be lightweight, waterproof, small, durable, and easy to use! I was beyond excited to get these flashlights in the mail and check them out. I was not disappointed at all and would highly recommend them. There is a wristband that is included so it makes it easy to carry in your hand and not drop it. The grip where your hand goes is comfortable and fits my hand and my 6 year old hand. We ordered a couple extra to keep in our vehicles as well, since they fit perfectly in the glovebox.

First off. These babies suck down the batteries like a brilliant torch, not an LED!?! What is that all about? LED bulbs are not supposed to use energy like these do. Very poor design. Next,t he push button on-off/selector switch doesn't work with any consistency! Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get! The switch control is crap, plain and simple. Sometimes you get an "SOS" signal but it three different brightness intensities. Never to be repeated because your very next attempt you might have the quick flashing warning signal? This is frustrating when all you want (or would desperately like to have) is a BRIGHT SINGLE LIGHT on demand!!! But,instead you get whatever to decides it wants to give you. Anyone who purchases this disaster after reading this review is going to wish they hadn't. The same flash lite is sold under more than a few names all over the web upwards of $55.00 for 2. Luckily, I only got ripped for $17.00. Buyer beware and steer clear of these prices of complete garbage.

These are okay for the money but they are no where near the advertised 1000 lumens! I have a Fenix PD22 which is 210 lumens. I compared the lights side by side. These iKustars are slightly brighter- perhaps in the area of 3-400 lumens. There are many versions of these chinese lights on Amazon under different names but they're all essentially identical. For the low cost they are fine everyday lights but don't expect them to be as bright as 1000 lumens. I can't speak to their durability. They seem to be of decent quality though not of the level of Fenix or Streamlight.

These flash lights are powerfully bright. Projects a weird square light in super zoom but a normal circular light when not zoomed. You have to click the button multiple time to toggle between the 4 modes which a bit annoying because the flashlight turns off between each mode. So to get back to the same setting the next time you have to click the button 7 times. Example of sequence (1 super bright —> 2 off —> 3 less bright —> 4 off —> 5 fast strobe —> 6 off —> 7 SOS strobe —> 8 off —> 1 super bright).

Really nice set of flashlights. They seem pretty heavy duty and well made. I dropped one on my foot by accident, and that was quite painful, but even after hitting my foot and then bouncing on concrete, the flashlight still worked! The flashlight has a very bright LED light with three functions; a steady beam, strobe, and S-O-S. Definitely going to be something we take with us this summer when we go camping.

I honestly wasn't expecting much when I purchased....the term "Tactical" is thrown around a lot these days....upon receiving the flashlights I was impressed....beam is really bright (and adjustable)...the size good and all the different settings are pretty cool as well....I even threw it in a bucket of water to test the waterproof claim....still working great...if you want a good bright LED tactical flashlight...this is the one...it does what the ad says....A+ in my book.

Very bright white light. Around the front it has an outer cover that you move forward and it pin points the light, when you pull it back, it opens the light to cover a larger area. Great to keep in your car, purse, etc.

Works exactly as advertised - I absolutely love these and very much depend on them when I have to take my dog out after dark, I can see very far away to see if there are any wild critters (or possible bad guys) nearby and feel much safer. It's worked reliably too - buy it with confidence! :-)
