Affordable and good quality!
My 10 year old son used his birthday money to buy this for himself. The price made it something he could afford, and the extras he received were really great. The yoyo comes worh instructions for tying the string that worked so effectively my 10-year old figured it out. It's a quality metal yoyo. The case fits the product well and we love that it comes with extra string--as one has already gone through the washing machine (ah kids! 😊)If you want a professional yoyo to start with this id a great choice.

Well balanced and fun
This is a nice V-shaped yoyo. I would say good for 1A and 5A. DNA-friendly but not optmized for it. Nice rims allow for more weight at the edge for longer spin times and stability. The V shape is nice and open, forgiving and provides a large catch zone. This was very smooth, even when you consider I took the yoyo apart and changed the bearing from the stock lubed responsive flat bearing to the unlubed concave unresponsive profiled bearing included, with the help of the included bearing puller. The flat bearing can be made unresponsive via a proper cleaning, but I didn't want to do that. There's slight surface texturing, feels like a light soda blast. The yoyo does finger and arm grinds with no problem, however it does loose a bit so don't drag them out. Thumb grinds work great due to the IRG created by the rim designed. The yoyo remains stable and on-axis and doesn't want to correct off the thumb grind into a vertical orientation. Grinds can be improved via use of the included yoyo glove, but I don't use yoyo gloves. It's nice they thought about the players and included them. The stock strings are nothing amazing, but they include 10 of them. Most new players only have the single stock string with the yoyo. Watieoboo includes 10 strings so you can really determine if you want to continue your yoyo journey. Plus, this is a fun yoyo to play. Put on your string of choice and enjoy even more play.Other notes, the response pads appear to be clear 19mm OD slim pads(YYF size), and I'm sure it could be replaced with IrPads or your other compatible pads of choice, or in my case, flowable silicone. Out of the package, the response pads need to be broken in, which is done quickly within 10 minutes. The bearing also needs some breaking in, but I didn't spend the time to do that yet. Breaking in new response pads and new bearings is fairly standard on almost all yoyos, so it's not a negative. This bearing didn't give me any issues, not showing any of that "new bearing" stuff. The response pads didn't give me any of that "new response pad grip" I sometimes get when doing slack-type tricks. The yoyo is more or less competition ready within minutes of being opened, the bearing changed, using your preferred string and played to break in the response pads.Very fun yoyo and comes in a number of nice splash with a touch of acid wash colorways. I'm enjoying this purchase and this item. Good for new and advanced players. Good enough for a first metal, as well as good enough to complete with.

Well worth the money!
The media could not be loaded. I had watched a review somewhere online about the watieboo yoyos in general and the consensus wasn't great. However because of positive reviews on Amazon I decided to give a try and bought one.So now I'm here doing my part for the next consumer that uses review to decide on a purchase or not.I enjoy this yoyo, the quality seems to decent or better, no vibe, the color scheme is great. I thought this yoyo was well worth the money.Go ahead and give it a try.The one reason I don't give it 5 stars is the strings that come with the yoyo, (all yellow) are far far far too short to be useable.

Just the facts
I bought this yo-yo for my 8 year old grandson. It's well made, however it's not user friendly. It's supposedly a good yo-yo for beginners, but it didn't hold my grandson's attention very long.

Bad design, off balance.
This thing is absolute crap. Very poorly balanced has really bad vibe. The fingerspin area has this sand paper like finish for some reason and it creates so much drag you get really short finger spins. Whoever decided on that finish in the finger spin area should quit designing yoyos. Finger grinds are not much better because the finish in that part of the yoyo is "sticky" and it slows down quickly. It comes with bearing and axle for responsive play but when I converted it to responsive the bad balance and vibe was even worse. This thing is useless. There are some pretty decent yoyos on Amazon for this price that are way better. You are better off with pretty much another yoyo than this one. Very disappointed...
