I’m in my late thirties and struggle with anxiety and sleep. I also live alone and get lonely sometimes… a friend of mine had a Moon Pal and I saw it and thought it was the cutest thing ever and needed one. So happy I did! It’s very cute and extremely comforting and has definitely been helping with my anxiety and sleep already. Great for all ages, definitely going to get one for my best friend and her 2 year old daughter so we can have a moon pal gang!

I’m a 30-something year old woman trying to start over after ending a long-term relationship and have been surprised to find that living alone is -wait for it - actually kind of lonely.One night I was laying in bed trying to calm my anxiety enough to go to sleep and was thinking how nice it might be to have a weighted blanket. For me, a good weighted blanket is way out of the budget, so I started looking into weighted animals. I picked this one because it was the highest weight I could find and also arguably one of the more visually appealing models.The first time I flopped this thing’s arms over my shoulders and gave it a hug it was just dumb how nice it felt. I sleep like a rock if I hug this thing while I fall asleep at night. It has been a big quality of life improvement to have this thing when I’m feeling anxious or can’t fall asleep at night.And, for anyone who might be buying this for a child, it comes with a cute little story book! I thought that was a nice touch.

This is exactly as wonderful as I'd imagined. I have so much trouble sleeping and this really does help. Really does feel like someone is gently hugging you.

I have wanted a Moon Pal since I first learned about them and I got one during the Black Friday sale and I couldn’t be happier with my Mylo! Even my parents love her. My mother has been very ill in the hospital for almost four weeks now, and I needed something to de stress. Now, Mylo goes everywhere with me. I even seat belt her in. My need for psychiatric meds to calm down is decreasing so quickly. I recently kicked sleeping pills to the curb, but it’s been about 6 months and I still get only 3-4 hrs sleep. Well, Mylo resting around my shoulders on my chest got me to fall asleep in just ten minutes. In my opinion weighted stuffed animals, blankets, eye masks etc are the future of treating anxiety. The simple, warm feeling of a hug can sometimes go a long way. A weighted toy is a fantastic alternative to addictive medicine. Your moon pal will never let you down! I want one in every color. God help my wallet. PS these moon pals are larger than you think and they are made of the softest material ever. I’m very sensitive to fabrics and chemicals and had no reaction. I’m 28, but I’d say it’s safe for children. GO MOON PALS!

Super cute and well made! Got the green one, it's name is Echo according to the picture book that came with it. I like to watch TV with it on my chest, it's comforting. Hubby likes it too. The long ears are fun to fiddle with. Great purchase!

I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter. She is on the autism spectrum and has difficulty regulating strong emotions. We've used weighted blankets before, but they aren't as easy to tote around and play with. This Moon Pal, Bo, is now her absolute best friend. He goes everywhere with her and she has told me many times how grateful she is that Bo is there to hug her when she is struggling with overestimulation. Sometimes all you need is a good hug, even as an adult. Will be purchasing the whole family of Moon Pals.

We got this for our shared daughter who we have shared custody of, and she is very loved and we have a great relationship, but somehow getting her this with the book really made her get emotional in a good way. She was so thankful to have this help aid in her back and forth transition between her homes. it helps her feel safe and calms any anxiety with the weight of it, and she loves how it hugs. the book makes for a cute story of “moonlight” that she really enjoyed imagining gives off extra light. I recommend this product for any guardian gifting it to a kid who may want something unique to help them with a difficult transition. I may buy a recordable teddy bear insert and record her favorite song or a message from us to her so she can play it whenever she needs a reminder.
