VIOFO Suction Cup Mount for the A119 (V1, V2, V3), A119S and A119 PRO

I used this in a rental car during my 2 week vacation in Europe. Mount worked perfectly, never fell off and did not introduce any extra vibrations or noises to my Viofo A119 dashcam's audio. The only issue is, due to not being the A119 adhesive mount meant the camera was much less inconspicuous because, of course it would be since you cannot mount this behind your rearview mirror.

I've tried everything to get this suction cup to stick, but nothing works. The suction cup itself is almost totally flat, so it doesn't even work like a suction cup should (slight curve to create suction). It falls off in a warm car and it falls off in a cold car. It just doesn't stick period.

Sorry to the other person that rated this a 1 because you can't put the gps on it. the gps is a little extra insurance that gives your rate of speed. I would have liked to be able to put the gps on it also, but, I couldn't get the Viofo to stick to the windshield at all. It kept falling down. That's not reliable. With the mount, It won't fall down anymore. To that, I'm totally happy with it. Another thing is that it has enough drag on it that it holds your adjustment. So surprised how tiny it was, but, so is the Viofo. It does not block your vision in any way. I'm ecstatic with the Viofo, the sd card and the holder. I feel much safer.

While it fits my camera perfect the suction cup is so weak it falls off all the time. I tried everything, cleaned the windshield, moistened the cup, pressed it hard, pressed it soft nothing will make it stick for more than a few days. Buy one of the cheap mounts the suction cup is way better.

I refuse to use adhesive in my car. It works great until it gets hot outside - I do park my car in the sun. Then it falls off. Keeps camera vera stable.

The Viofo camera only comes with adhesive mounts and I wanted to be able to move camera easily between vehicles and this optional mount works perfectly! If you have this camera and want to remove it easily, I highly recommend this mount

Works well. Just make sure the suction cups sits on flat section of glass. It will fall off it there is any painted dots on the top of the windshield and you place the mount on the paint.

Easy to setup. Fall down very easily during driving or if you close the door hard. It's not like there is a pattern for it to drop, just randomly. Would not recommend for daily use.

This is a great accessory for my A119V2. Took it on a recent vacation to Maui and used it in a rental car. This unit never dismounted from the windshield once even in the hot 28-29 C degree whether in Maui (temps higher in car). Didn't have any issues with adjustments either. Simple suction mount with a ball like collar for minute adjustments. Mounting and dismounting of the A119 was simple and easy from this suction mount accessory. I think I may use this as an accessory rear mount camera in one of my cars too. Nice alternative to the standard double-sided tape mount.

Suction cup seems to work at first, but cannot hold a vacuum; on multiple occasions I would mount the suction cup on the windshield and within a half hour, the vacuum would be lost and the dashcam would fall, potentially damaging the camera or becoming a distraction while driving. Item is prone to failure and very overpriced ($30!) but necessary because of the mounting head that is unique to this camera. Try to find this mount somewhere else if possible and avoid suction cups.

This is a great little item. It stays put and does not fall off even after big bumps along your travels. It is very easy to set up and use.

Very tiny and decent construction. It's easy to setup and the suction is REALLY strong so I feel confident that it'll stay mounted. Too bad the GPS module isn't compatible with this mount but if you don't need that feature then you're good with getting this suction mount which I totally recommend!
