The third Nick Fisher crime novel set in Crete
In the third Nick Fisher crime novel set on the Greek island of Crete, Nick is invited back by Leo, the Chania Police Lieutenant to help investigate the sad murder of a teenage boy. A very topical, high octane story of menace, cross-border smuggling and huge financial gain make for another great page-turner in this series.

Another great book in the Nick Fisher series.
A terrifically engaging thriller with a slightly different feel to the previous Nick Fisher books. A backdrop of a topical political situation, set in a slightly wider area, not just Crete, it is fast paced and exciting with enough tension to keep the pages turning long into the night. I can't wait for the next one!

Gripping storyline!
Where better place to read the latest Nick Fisher novel, The Stone Skimmers, than on my holiday in Crete? It has a complex storyline set with the key characters in different locations but the way Alex writes makes it so easy to follow. It was gripping and I couldn't put it down. The best he's written so far. I bet it caused him some sleepless nights. It did me! I can highly recommend it if you like a good fast paced crime novel.

Fantastic thriller
Really good read, and a worthy follow on from the first 2 Nick Fisher novels. Great thriller with evocative memories of places on the wonderful island of Crete. Fast paced and well researched, can't wait for the next one!

Gripping, fast paced, political crime thriller
I loved this, the third in the Nick Fisher series; just couldn't put it down. The characters are so richly drawn, the dialogue punchy, the unfolding investigation carrying the reader along. I love the exchanges between the protagonist Nick Fisher and his Cretan counterpart, Leo. The series just keeps getting better and better, and it's dying to be made into a Netflix tv series! Keep 'em coming, Alex Dunlevy!
