spiiner made from steel and a 306 bearing

Best price considering the superior quality...
I am a repeat purchaser of this product. It has now formed the core of my three favorite DIY spinners. Starting with inexpensive basic 3D printed tri-spinner frames, I paired it with tungsten weights for superior increases in spin-time. I have tried three other brands of adapters that all fell short in quality. One was aluminum with soft threads that were easy to cross-thread. The buttons were also aluminum and LOOSE inside the center of the bearing. It would grind and oscillate to a stop immediately. Also, one would not fit R188 bearings to close tolerance. All not fit for purpose. But the Northwall adapter is precision made. All stainless steel. The included buttons and central cavity fit every R188 bearing I have. No free play. Smooth action every time. And because of it, I have recently built a spinner that topped 12 minutes. See the photo. Three others over 10 mins. I had to sand down the tungsten weights to get them to balance. The frames too. But never a problem with the Nomad spinner. Best price for quality in my opinion.

I despise Friction.
Spinners are basically "Physics" built into a toy built for all ages and the bearings are produced by a company that is world renown for bearings of all sizes. Isac Newton's laws of motion come into play when you apply force to any spinner, so why don't they spin the same amount of time? If you eliminate all the natural forces that want to stop that spinner, then what is left? The manufacturing of the spinner but first and foremost it is the bearing in the center. Presently this spinner has the best or should say the best that normal folks can afford. I cannot say enough about this spinner as not once has it missed the 4-minute mark. Using compressed air it easily gets near 7 minutes but would tell you, youngsters, not to used air without adult supervision. The rpm on this widget when the air is used as the force is blazing fast. There will be better ones in the future but truly a marvel of engineering getting an easy 5-star rating.

Unique and Smooth!
The body of this product is truly unique. The first thing that I noticed when I took it out of the tin was how smooth this guy spun. The extended arms provide a great place you rest your fingers for pre-loaded flicks. The body has body has machining lines so when spun it creates a unique design as the light hits it. The only few downsides are that the extended legs could become snagging points if not spun the proper way as well as the buttons in my opinion need either a little bit more curvature or made out of the same material as the body is to provide better grip during spins. Even though it has its downsides it's not enough to keep from trying this product out. For the price, I would recommend it to any one looking for a good and solid spinner for their collection..

The quality of this spinner is really impressive. It is clearly precision cut from one piece of metal and the balance is perfect. If you hold this horizontally and spin it, you can't even feel the slightest vibration (with your eyes closed and it held far enough away from your ears so you don't hear the whirr... you can't really tell it's spinning at all just from feel). I've been playing with it for a day now and I don't think I've once held on to it long enough for it to stop on it's own.Just understand that this is smaller than you probably think from the pictures. It's about 2 inches in diameter. Smaller than what you are probably used to. Nonetheless the size feels right considering how heavy the thing already is at it's current size.

Your better off with a cheaper model, it is probably nicer than this one.
Recieved item as a gift for a young child and it had a coarse and gritty feel to the spin. Customer service sent me a proactive e-mail to ensure that I was pleased with the item. I told them about the problem, and they told me to tell the child to soak it in brake fluid, and then blow it clean with an air compressor. What?! I told their customer service that there is no way that this child is handling brake fluid, and that I like the design and weight, but the gritty spin made it go to the back of the drawer. This was meant to be the "splurge, the high quality spinner for his birthday" and he prefers the cheaper ones because they spin better, smoother, and longer. Customer service offered me a $2.00 credit because of the defect. I should have requested a refund, I missed the return window.

very nice except wobbles
very nice and small! just like I wanted. I don't want to attract attention when I fidget and this is very discrete. It about the size of the average cap on regular fidgets. The metal on the spinning band is very nicely weighted. When spinning in hand it is very quiet but when spin on hard surface can be quite loud. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it wobbles less when spun.

Spin Doctor, MD weighs in on this gorgeous piece
The Pro Q7 was absolutely made for the one finger flinger - the solo shot. You people know what I'm talking about. Holding the grip with thumb and middle finger then flick the index finger on and through the wings of that angelic dove of an FS and there she goes, humming absolute buttery spins every time you let her loose. Nomad's spindaddy Pro Q7 is made with 3 deep grooves you see in the profile which set you up to get those effortlessly lustrous 4 and 5 minute gliding spins we wake up for. A perfectly weighted piece with a bearing chassis that could have only been made by one organization: NASA. This soon-to-be-classic is a must have for the centrifugally gifted spinner who takes their revolutions seriously. SMASH that 1-click and join me in Twirltown, USA

It's alright. Bearing it comes with has a lot of slop and it's pretty mediocre. The adapter itself has machine marks on the inside, and is not perfectly round, but still works. The bearing doesn't seem to sit perfectly centered, so the caps have an offset amount of shaft sticking out, which is functionally okay but bothers me.For what it is, it works, but for the price I was hoping for a little bit more quality.
