GCS Handmade Camel Bone Handle D2 Tool Steel Tactical Hunting Knife with leather sheath Full tang blade designed for Hunting & EDC GCS 141

The knife I received was nothing as advertised. Handle was black laminate material. Blade length was about 2" longer. I love the feel of the knife. Upon sharpening it held a keen edge, only to have that edge roll over upon usage. A much more blunt sharpening angle was needed to keep an edge which reflects a soft blade. Would make a good chopping tool and less of a cutting tool. The sheath riveted eyelets have already started to rust. More of a novelty item than a skinning knife. Would work a s a good camp knife and just fun to hold!

so the knife looks to be of good quality, after an hour sharpening it is razor sharp, we will see if it holds an edge well, but the leather sheaths stink so bad I have had them outside washed them and still they stink to high heaven! not sure the stink will ever go away , ill leave them outside to air out for another week and will see. maybe don't wrap them in plastic when they are shipped and whatever they are putting on the leather STOP!

This is my first purchase of a GCS knife. The knife and sheath are phenomenal. Blade is thick and extremely sharp. Sheath is rugged, strong, and has the option of horizontal carry. Of all the many knives I have collected over the years, this one has the finest blade. I am already looking at other GCS knives to purchase.

Blade is nice. Handle feels great. Nice weight to it.
